This basically measures level of fan happiness with their franchise... I know we have placed #1 recently. This year, we are #2 behind Memphis... we are #1 in many categories though.

So the bottom line is they have the cheapest tickets for a winning team?

actually not... we were ranked 10th in bang for buck.

They must be weighting the "bang for buck" extremely heavily. Because, accounting for the average rank in every category, the spurs are in first place by a wiiiide margin.

That ranking system is kind of fucked up. The Spurs were #1 in four categories, while the Grizzlies weren't #1 in any category, yet they were #1 overall?

Speaking of ESPN, and in a totally unrelated aspect, they had a writer called John Hollinger that hasn't written articles for a long time. Does someone know what has happened to him?

So Memphis is better because their beer is cheaper?

I don't really understand how the Grizzlies are #1 on that list? Spurs are clearly ahead of them overall. Isn't that a list of overall best? Spurs' clearly have the "lowest total" (which would be the best since being ranked 1, lowest number, is the best).

Grizzlies are worse ranked in title expectations than Spurs are even when you combine all their ranks together. Even their ownership score is almost as high as our combined total rank. And Spurs are #1 in 4 categories vs Grizzlies beign #1 in 0.

Anyway, was interesting to look at, thanks OP.

I honestly think they just didn't want to rank the spurs #1 again...
