If ya saw the Broncos vs Raiders game you heard the talk of speedsters Trindon Holliday and Jacoby Ford. They are the fastest 100m sprinters to ever play in the NFL. Holliday at 10.00, Ford at 10.01. If Jeff Demps does play NFL football he'd also be there with his 10,.01, which he ran in HS (the HS record)

Olympic gold medalist 1968 Jimmy Hines was just a failed experiment so we can't count him or his 9.95. I do put Olympic gold medalist 1964 Bob Hayes 10.06 as being superior since it was ran on a dirt track some 50 years ago. But it is what it is.

The Raiders have had four sprinters run a sub10.10. Alvis Whitted, Ron Brown, Sam Graddy and Ford. Graddy and Oly silver medalist and Brown a 4th place Oly finisher.

Just heard that Demps is now a TB Buccaneer.

When we have college footballers at the school on a track scholarship and then drafted because of their speed that is just as noteworthy as ...are are black QB's doing?

The NFL has even drafted sprinters with no football background as projects that's how important speed is. Hell look at your Raidrers, they are the best example there is of the importance of speed in the NFL.

a lot of football players have basketball or baseball backgrounds yet nobody posts their basketball stats here. its an NFL forum so stick to NFL talk. an old video of a track match from college isn't at all relevant to the forum. there is a "General Sports" forum. you should visit

If an NFL er was also a great trackster I'll talk about it, don't read it..ok?

How many times do we hear about how Antonio Gates, Tony Gonzalaz were basketballers...why? Same with that Bronco TE, why do we need to know this?
