Texas State Defense (#DoomSquad) makes big stops and the Era of True Freshman Tyler Jones Begins. Offense was able to turn it around after Franchione made the decision to burn Tyler Jones' redshirt.

"Wyoming (3-2) entered the game ranked 8th in the nation in total offense, averaging over 556 yards with Brett Smith (http://espn.go.com/college-football/player/_/id/516959/brett-smith) averaging more than 403 total yards. The Cowboys were limited to 356 yards and Smith finished with 292 yards and a score"

Very impressed. Now I really know going to San Marcos will be a tough game for South Alabama.

Yeah I have a feeling South Alabama is going to be a tough, tough game for TXST. They have played a way more tougher schedule than we have. Heck the rest of the Sun Belt Conference is no joke, every game should be a battle with the exception of Georgia State and Idaho.
txst having a pretty decent season so far

I'd like to think the bobcat D was why Tech's offense looked like crap.
I was there. Don't think Texas State contains that Wyoming offense the way it did without the rain and 4 hr delay tbh. New freshman QB looks good though. :tu

Good job. Got some nice coverage in Austin since UT didn't lose Saturday.
