Shit, the payout to fire Brown might be more than some schools entire athletic budget.

Mack has a 2.75 million buyout, I think even lolutsa can afford that.

Wow, that's nothing. I guess Mack thought he didn't need a more stringent buy out when he signed the extension early last year.

"Texas athletic director DeLoss Dodds will announce Tuesday afternoon that he will step down next August after 32 years in the position, three well-connected sources told the American-Statesman on Monday."

His buyout is practically nothing -- basically a half-year's pay.

"I have the greatest respect for the University of Texas and one of my mentors, DeLoss Dodds," Smith said in the statement released by the school. "I am fortunate to have the opportunity to be the athletics director at The Ohio State University. Reports of me interviewing at the University of Texas are inaccurate."

Smith said, "Reports of me interviewing at the University of Texas are inaccurate" :lol
He could of interviewed for Texas somewhere else. Smith didn't say that the reports were inaccurate and not 100% false.
I just posted for semantics as I don't think Smith would go to Texas.

Smith to me is a clone of Deloss, so it makes sense that Texas would be interested. Where I think Luck would make sweeping changes, I think Smith is the type of guy that would come in tweek a few things and basically keep things as status quo.
