Harlem's weekly power rankings following week 4, tbh..

1- Denver Broncos..obvious choice, setting records every week, tbh..

2- New Orleans Saints..the classless assholes look great, Jimmy Graham is the most dangerous receiver in the league..

3- New England Patriots..great win at Atlanta, despite key injuries..losing Wilfork is potentially fatal, though..

4- Seattle Seahawks..good team, elite defense and Marshawn Lynch is a monster carrying that offense..

5- Indianapolis Colts..Luck keeps improving and their defense actually looks like it could be good..

6- Kansas City Chiefs..looking solid with Reid + defense and game manger..

7- Detroit Lions..it's beginning to look like they're a real threat, tbh..

8- Miami Dolphins..tough loss to an elite team on the road, still a great start to the season..

9- Tennessee Titans..defense looks elite and will continue to carry them..

10- Chicago Bears..great start but their decline is inevitable with Cutler at QB..

11- Baltimore Ravens..tough loss but they will improve once they get healthy..

12- SF 49ers..good team on the decline and suffering from the SB Curse..

13- Houston Texans
14- Cincinnati Bengals
15- Green Bay Packers
16- Atlanta Falcons
17- San Diego Chargers
18- Cleveland Browns
19- Dallas Cowboys
20- NY Jets
21- Buffalo Bills
22- Carolina Panthers
23- Philadelphia Eagles
24- Minnesota Vikings
25- Arizona Cardinals
26- Washington Redskins
27- Pittsburgh Steelers
28- New York Giants
29- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
30- Oakland Raiders
31- St. Louis Rams
32- Jacksonville Baguars

We should have quarterly report cards on teams too tbh (for football nerds like myself). I give the Bills a B-...rookie owner, GM, HC, OC, QB, and MLB:lol. Their also missing 3/4 of their starting secondary as well as key depth guys (Brooks, etc.). Been in 4 straight nailbiters but I can't give them a higher grade due to losing to Geno Smith.

Eagles and the Chip Kelly Experiment get a D--their team has been embarrassing the last 14 quarters tbh

The Raiders get an F because Matt Flynn is everything that is wrong with this world.

Tennessee with Locker playing the game manager role has easily been a top 10 team, tbh..unfortunately for them, Locker is out and they may go downhill with Fitz..

at least we have Pryor. flynn was just such an abomination in his performance. at least Gabbert attempts to throw the ball past the sticks once in a blue moon.

Did you take into consideration the level of opposition and home and road? The Dolphins have played three road games, the Broncos one. The Niners have played three 2012 playoff teams, the Broncos one.

The team that started off with the toughest first quarter of a season....Texans

at Chargers
Tennessee
at Baltimore
Seattle

No pushover there and no double home stand.

I know the Dolphins looks like shit tonight but to be 3-1 with only one home game is impressive. I know the Niners are 2-2 but what teams started off playing three 2012 playoff teams?

If we look at home/road and wins vs quality opposition then the Seahawks have been the most impressive.

I pay a lot of attention to points scored/given up. If we look at that...

Denver + 88
Seattle +62
KC +61
Indy +56
NO +53
Caro + 32
NE +31
Tenn +29
Detroit +21
Dallas +19
Green Bay +18
Chicago +13
SD + 6
Baltimore +4

Cinncy/Miami...even

Buffalo =4
Cleveland =6
Minnesota =8
Atlanta =10
Houston =15
Niners =16
Oakland/Arizona =20
Washington =21
NYJ=22
Tampa Bay =26
Philly =39
Pitt =41
St. Louis =52
NYG=85
Jax=98

Points scored/given up is a broad indicator of a team's success, but to pay a lot of attention to it or give it too much credence can definitely be misleading. Take the Colts for example. They are a decent team, but are they a +56 team after 4 games? I dont think so. They got to play the worst team in football for a +34.

also look at the Lions. I think they are better than a +21. They gave up 16 to the bears in the 4th due to dumbass prevent.

prevent defense alone in blow outs skews the points for / against numbers on a weekly basis.

22nd in power rankings?

Toughest schedule in the league and only losing to the Seahawks by 5.

Judging by your comment, I can tell you are enjoying it pretty well.

It's all good though. Smith chokes. Reid chokes. We'll finish with a better record. I'll bump this topic later.

I'd have the 49ers in the top 10 strictly because after the _aints and Seacocks I don't see an NFC team that poses much of a threat to do anything. Also, not sure what you're thinking putting the lolphins and Titans in the top 10; the first is smoke and mirrors and the second is about to crash and burn.

Have to agree on the Titans/Dolphins not being in the top 10. Neither make the playoffs, imo

HarlemHeat37

Power Rankings are based on the teams at their current state, tbh..

If it was a ranking of projected best teams in December/January, I wouldn't have the Titans/Dolphins/Chiefs in the top 10, and I'd have SF/Green Bay/Atlanta instead, but that's not the point of the PWs, tbh..

Power rankings are meant to be eyeball standings. The titans are not a top 10 team in the NFL

HarlemHeat37

The Titans have played like a top 10 team in the NFL, so far..

They'll regress with Locker's injury, but so far, they have played like a top 10 team..

So explain it to me then. Explain the point you were making. You asked him what he factored in, you then explained that you pay attention to point differential. So what's your point? You think the rankings should be different then what he put up there? Yes or No? Well?

Also, when you raped the girl, what was over/under on how quick you blew your nut? 1 minute? Well?

I'll go slow, you can do this.

Look at the Chicago Bears they are two plays away from being 1-3. We look at margin of victory, road wins as a true measure of where thesr teams are really at. So you beat Jags, Raiders and Rams at home...wow!

My point differental list gives us a true measure of where these teams are really at to some degree. But not complete until we figure in home/road.

I know, you don't get it.

They won't be as deep when they have to sign Kaep to a long-term comtract. Their window to remain as deep as they are is about two years.

So you critique his list, then don't offer one of your own except to say, "look at my point differential breakdown"?
