4-6 weeks from now or from season opener? God I hope so. Spurs were the 1st seed last season up until the Parker injury, hopefully the WB injury will mean we finish 1st in the West.

Laker docs aren't that reckless considering they're paid well.

This is what happens to an organization that's so stingy with money, tbh.

From what I've heard, Kirby's "stitches" are made out of kevlar or some shit like that.

He was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_Angeles_Lakers) in the 2009 NBA Draft (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_NBA_Draft), and then traded to the Miami Heat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miami_Heat) for a future 2011 second round draft pick and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Well assuming that's the end all and he ends up 100% its not just that huge of a hit, although I guess it probably could end up putting them back a notch or two in the playoff seeding. Or...to those who claim Westbrook is a cancer...I guess OKC just got better?

OKC

If one wants to reach for positivity, I guess you could say this forces Jackson and Lamb to be thrown to the wolves early, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I think Jackson could end up being a big time player. I wouldn't call it a big stretch to say he could potentially be in the running for 6th man this year.

Midrange shots are inefficient by nature, that's why coaches are starting to encourage their players to shoot less of them..... btw, I thought you were :cry "just trolling" :cry with that horrid LeBron take? :lol

IIRC LeBron excels in post scoring, slashing, and 3s. His weakness is pulling up for a long 2, and that's how SA played him, tbh.

He's got the 50/40 down pat. If he improves his FTs NBA = f:lolcked

OKC will not win a ring with RW at the point. He's not smart enough, not poised enough, and doesn't use the tools around him. Even MJ had to use his team to win.

He's a hell of a player. I can't disagree with some of your points. Ive said before I think their title kind of hinges on RW and his court management and decision making. I love Ibaka's game and I think his ceiling is still really high, but RW has had him and Perk in the frontcourt for awhile now and as good of a weapon as Ibaka is offensively (he basically led the NBA in shooting % from 10-18 feet last year on high volume shooting)..he still lacks finishing ability and a post game. Hell, for a couple of seasons, Ibaka couldn't even catch a damn pass from RW. We know Perk has a hard time doing 2 things at once as well so RW was kind of stuck playing hero ball for awhile with 2 frontcourt players who he had next to zero confidence in as far as guys who he could rely on to catch and finish.

I believe this is Durant's chance to be alpha. Indeed if he fails to be alpha now, then OKC is looking at a very low playoff seed or possibly missing the playoffs entirely. Six weeks is a long time for your second and arguably first best player to miss in the hotly contested West playoff jockeying.

Honestly, OKC would probably be no lower than a 6 seed even if RW never stepped on the court this season...as if that's really much consolation.

You may be right. I tend to be in what i think is still the minority - those who think RW could be better than Durant if given the support. He is a natural leader even if his court sense needs some work.

Westchuck is the alpha of this team but it has more to do with Durant's inborn beta property than the leading talent that WC is said to have, imho. Durant is a humble dude while WC has more interest in drawing attention from fans and media, if anything.
