Just read it from Yahoo News. Kind of feel sad because I loved his books and Splinter Cell.

Only the Jack Ryan series were fantastic and once he went to Op-Center it just became a sci-fi book not the normal Clancy drama
He did a lot for veterans also . Will miss his books thou

Was his heartbeat one of those government programs they had to shut down?

what's weird is I was putting some board games away yesterday and found my brother's old board game of that book. I didn't even know they made a board game out of it, generally I don't like board games but it was cool to see a relic of that era.
sad about CLancy passing. I've always meant to read his books, my dad always liked his stuff. I always thought it was a military industrial complex porn, but Hunt for Red October was a great flick and tbh, Patriot Games and Clear and Present Danger are very underrated movies as well.
Hard to believe with all that money, still didn't live a very long life. Well hope he found some peace and happiness along the way.

that's so sad, the age of 66 is like the prime age for a writer these days.

Honestly, I found the guy's writing style dull as hell, but I'm not really his target audience anyway.
RIP. Dude was an icon and really seemed to know his shit.
