View Full Version : How long until UT runs back to Aggy
I seriously can't stop laughing at the chain of events that have taken place between these two schools the past couple years. Aggy is just killing it with their unbearable fan base and to think Texas is going to be the one running back to try and rekindle the rivalry is beyond hysterical. You know as soon as the new AD steps in, one of the first calls will be to their former little brother to try and play this game again. As a fan I used to love watching this game but I seriously hope A&M declines the offer :lol
The mighty sure have fallen. Once the game does take place again (it will soon) it will also be funny to watch both fan bases argue about who "decided" to re start the rivalry. One might say that this conference move and hiatus from each other actually took this rivalry to another level. It's certainly been entertaining to watch from the outside.

OOC schedule opens up in 2018.
Tangent: I really like that a team like Ohio State plays at least one game a year against another, er, Ohio state school. Should be the norm for UT/Aggie.

What? Most years they play one or two of the smaller state schools. This year was an exception.

That was part of my confusion since yall are on our schedule soon.Right, I'm saying the bigger schools should do it every season with one or two of the smaller state schools.
Until they go off and make their own league, I guess.

We are actually playing/have played Rice, SMU, Sam Houston State, and UTEP this season. Forgot we had all of those this year. I'm pretty excited about the UTSA match up tbh

It will interesting to see where the UTSA program is by the time that game rolls around.

Yeah I just included them because I didn't realize we played so many Texas schools. I'm rooting for yall. Made a lot of progress in a very short period of time thus far.
