If it were up to Jordan he never would have left the spotlight and Duncan's never had a high profile in the media. Every time Jordan mentions Kobe it puts his name in the heads and mouths of an army of Lakerfans who go shouting it from their internet rooftops.

He's brought him up before, you just don't notice because you intentionally look for mentions of Kobe so you can jerk off even more. Even your faggot idol said that Timmy is one of the best of all-time, just accept it your broke ass bandwagoner :lol

Real talk. Jordan knows that Kobe is an imitator of him and pretty successful due to robbing MJ's style and moves, therefore he's not worried about Kobe's legacy because he knows that Bryant will always be viewed as a Jordan clone and the GOAT can take solace knowing someone imitating him can be so successful, he is by extension taking credit for the success of Kobe. LeBron on the other hand possess no real Jordan-like qualities in terms of style of play and he is currently a legitimate threat to be seen as the GOAT one day or at the least be able to open the debate for who the GOAT is, which currently is a title that is a general consensus for MJ.

MJ knows LeBron is on his heels and he's worried. He knows his shitty imitation clone will never be as good as him so he has no problems praising him. :lol

I'm just saying to be the best ever, you should be good in all traits. Jordan's biggest weakness was his three point game. But towards the end of his career he drastically improved on it due to losing a bit of his athleticism.

LeBron gets hot sometimes, but his midrange game is VERY inconsistent. When he played the Spurs, he did horrible, outside of game seven.

It's just my personal opinion. To be the best, you have to have to be well-rounded.

I don't know how anyone in this day and age can claim Lebron is on Jordan's heels. That argument ended in 2011 tbh.

jordan didnt need a 3pt game, he concentrated on his strengths and exploited it that there was no need to rely on a 3pt jumpshot, then again he played against bullshit guards who if played today would be a tier below turnoboli

Jordan played with some pretty sick backcourt tbh, they're not as flashy as today's generation but guys like Mookie Blaylock, Bobby Phills, Starks, Payton, Hornacek etc would still thrive in today's game.

I don't recall Jordan ever crawling under pressure in the Finals, especially in his prime, with the help of 2 All Stars.

thats where the problem is, jordan didnt defend those guys it was pippens job to defend the other teams best wingman...

those guys on paper look good, but if u put them in todays league they would still get theres, but they will still be a tier below the top 15 wingman/backcourt players in the league....

besides gary payton, how many of those guys are 2 way players? non of those guys dont even appear on all defensive teams let alone even candidates

at the end of the day its all about winning right at all costs/excuses?

lebron might have a shitty finals record, but his currently 2 rings in a row, only fail 3peat would hurt him but his career aint over yet
failing to win against the mavs doesnt hurt him, if he had won against the mavs and fail against the spurs on his way to a 3peat then people would judge him how he failed that 3peat years,
till he fails to defend t he ring then people will criticize him

I think you misunderstood. Do take note that the players are mentioned we're not offensively great players. They were your typical blue collar perimeter guys in the 90's, they're actually not good in paper because their overall stats, minus GP wouldn't grab attention. If I want scorers, I'd obviously bring up Drexler, Penny Hardaway, Mitch Richmond, Grant Hill, Sprewell etc.

Im just trying to debunk the notion that Jordan played with garbage.

and BTW Mookie Blaylock is 1st team All Defense.

not true. basketball was a lot more physical back then, and they had a shit ton of great guards in the 90's. cmon man

I recall Jordan only taking 8 shots, only scoring 18 points (mostly from free throws), and being reduced to a "decoy" in Game 5 of the ECF against the Pistons with Pippen by his side, tbh....

I also recall Jordan losing 16 straight games to Bird's Celtics, including getting swept out of the playoffs by Bird twice during that streak :lol

You got anything right lately? Jordan had a 26% shooting GAME vs. Seattle, he shot 41.5% vs. them, including two 50% games, against the best defensive PG in the history of the league, and an entire seattle sonics defense team collapsing on him because he had Rodman and Will Perdue in the middle.

Kobo, shot 40.5% vs. the Celtics with no games at or above 50% despite having MVPau, Bynum and Odom drawing the attention.

point is MJ and Kobe both had bad finals games...40.5 and winning a title is pretty dam good....for the series Kobe avg 28 ppg...and no Pau, Bynum, and Odom don't draw attention....Kobe draws the double and triple teams....you're a joke trying to imply any of those guys draw doubles even comparable to Kobe's double and triple teams...the opposition game plans around Kobe...not Pau, Bynum, or Odom...ok crack head :lol

40.5% and winning a title IS pretty damn good, especially when the leader of the team was shooting 48% from the field to bail your ass out. Getting free rides and coat tailing is great! You get all of the glory and none of the hard work, a welcher like you would know how it feels.

pcQbCdlVnS8
First play, the entire Celtics team collapsing on the inside once Bynum got the ball and leaving Kobe WIDE open.
Letting MVP guard Pierce because Kobe was scared of being brutalized
Missing layup having to let MVPau finish
Four Celtics in the paint defending a Fisher drive because Bynum was there, ignoring Kobo all together out in the perimeter, and Bynum STILL scored.
Getting doubled only in garbage time

KRJIT1TcK_M
There was ONE shot where Kobe was doubled and made the shot.

Pau was doubled every time except the first shot where there was a mis-match.

:lol "Bryant forcing the shot", missing, and then having his teammate grab the offensive foul and finish.

All in all, +/- in the 7 games:
Kobe: +8, -9, +10, -9, -6, +15, 0. Total for 7 games = +9
MVPau: +13, -12, 0, -8, -7. +20, +7. Total for 7 games = +13

you can cherry pick certain plays if it makes you feel good...but Kobe was MVP of that finals...Pau had a decent final game...Kobe won that series for them...why don't you pull up his stats....Kobe lead all scorers in the final game and pretty much out rebounded the Celtics big 3...despite how bad he played...the point is this....

Kobe won the title in his last finals appearance...Tim Duncan choked in the finals point blank..(no pun) you can try and single out plays to make your claim but all in all Kobe's numbers prove he was the MVP....sure Artest hit a crucial shot, and Pau hit a big shot but Kobe won them the series....

Now back to Duncan...what were his stats when he completely choked a few months back?
