I would like to know if there is any deal possible involving Rasho and Michael Finley. I think Finley would be a great addition to the Spurs team and the Mavericks could have a replacement for the retired Bradley.

Hell no. Paid too much.

If Finley is coming here, its for the vet minimum.

Finley would have to take the minimum if he wants a championship.

I wouldn't mind finely then he wouldn't have to get cut
I still think he is more likely cut then traded

And that is the ticket, NASHville. At his age, he definitely is hungry for a ring. After all, Oberto can cover for the loss of Rasho

Well Finley makes $17M a year, so I don't think the Spurs would want to trade for him. If he's healthy, they (along with a lot of teams) will probably look to see if they can pick him up cheap when he's waived.

Wouldn't work, salary-wise, either. No way the Spurs can only ship out like 6M, and take back Finley's bloated contract.

Wouldn't do it--Finley's too fragile, needs to shoot the ball, and makes too much money for a likely back-up

with us only having half the MLE I just don't think we can pick him up because I belive other teams coudl throw more moeny at him. It is possible that if we wanted him we coudl get him. Just not a sure bet.

That trade woold not be smart. One big contract for another.

I wouldn't count on it. Finley is a defensive liability, which pretty much disqualifies him.

"Besides Finley, other possible "amnesty'' candidates are Lakers forward Brian Grant, with $30 million left on his contract; 76ers forward Chris Webber, with $62.1 million left on his deal; and Toronto Raptors guard Jalen Rose, who has $32.6 million left on his contract." Chicago Sun-Times

Maybe he will think he's not worth 17 million and go for the vetrerans min. Maybe he will stop thinking he's Jordan.
