dirks 48 against OKC

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kM9MYvoQn8M

best part is at 6:30. Ibaka has no clue how the hell to guard Dirk, trying just about anything... with no success whatsoever, as dirk calmly sinks the shot like no one is there.

Super-alpha mode Dirk, tbh. He carried the entire city on his shoulders to the title

:worthy: Dirk was a fucking God that night. The best part is when Van Gundy says Ibaka should name his first son Dirk :lol

that and when they threw Thabo at him and he made that ridiculous bank shot

Gotta be one of Dirk's best games. Maybe the best, given it was in the WCF.

God-mode Dirk, tbh. Will we ever see him play at that level again?

efficient as fuck. takes kobe 35 attempts and a bazillion free throws to duplicate that.

spurs fans are still salty about 6 imho. if you really feel upset you may have a break like my nigga shadow did. Dirk played through the 11-12 and half of the 12-13 season with an injured knee and I'm really pleased to see we're gonna have back a healthy Dirk for the upcoming season. Top 4 seed and WCF guaranteed imho.

it was preseason but the OKC are still an NBA team no matter how bad they've turned. Our god played face to face against arguably the best defensive PF of the league yet managed to drop nearly half a hundred points. We'll make a strong comeback the coming season and we have every reason to believe that.

Dirk was a beast, but he's pretty much rested on his laurels at this point, as have Mark and Donnie.

Dirk will probably make his last push for another championship ring just like Tammy did in the 12-13 season. If a TGSB duncan could lead a board of average talents within 29 seconds of the NBA championship, Dirk can too and will probably achieve a better result since he knows who to beat the Heat in 6, which he and them mavs managed to do once.

I like Dirk as a player no doubt, but let's not confuse a 4-time champion from a one-timer. Just saying, tbh.

Saying Dirk is better than KG is almost as ridiculous as saying Durant is better than LeBron. Sure, Durant is a better pure scorer and a great player in his own right but LeBron does it all on both sides. Who cares if his shitty Cleveland teams couldnt win and that he had to team up with Wade/Bosh to win a ring...hes still unquestionably the better player.

Dirk carried a shit load of sorry fucks to the NBA finals twice and won the Championship once, while the WCF was the furthermost point where that coal-head nigga had ever advanced before moving to boston to join another 2 superstars.

I liked when MLK gave that one speech in Washington. And when Kennedy promised that we would land on the moon and return safely before the 60s were over and then we totally did like true bosses..

Fade aways, back downs, give & goes, rub screens...poor Ibaka had no answer whatsoever.

Ibaka=another PF that thinks he is great all the while averaging single digit rebounds season after season.
