I agree they will win...If Jason Kidd coaches this thing right..and barring injury KG and Paul Pierce now have the youth around them...Deron can shoot that thang like Rondo never could...Rondo can control an offense but in all honesty Deron is the complete package, he drives, dishes, and shoots...Miami will be forced to play Wade on Deron and Deron is big enough to handle it...but it will create problems for the Heat in other areas....Jason Terry is bulls eye....what I like is that KG has legit help down low in Brook Lopez and Kirilenko...Lopez is solid and can bang....having him now allows KG to be KG...he has a jumper that he rarely misses and he has a great low post game... Swapping G-Force + trashes for KG and Paul might be an upgrade but I doubt it's significant enough to escalate the team much higher than where they reached last season. Seems to me that both NY teams always have the talents but the lack of chemistry will always hold them back. Kidd has the potential to be a great coach but he needs quite some time to adapt to this new role. You're legitimately fooling yourself if you think the Nets have built a champion squad instantly just by acquiring two shitbags imho. I'd rather put my money on the other NY team. Melo is right in his prime and TC will do a great job handling the Heat in the paint, I think if they somehow strengthens their backcourt with a few solid signings they'll be a real threat in the East. While the Nets look more like a circus to me tbh.
