Yes. Getting to the finals is a possibility. We are a top two WCF team if healthy.

you can't replace harden with jeremy lamb and think you are as good as you were 2 years ago

My optimism stems from development from within partner. If Russ is healthy we should at least make the WCF. What happens there, is up in the air.

Russ may have an Adrian Peterson-esque comeback but Jeremy Lamb looks mediocre and they still have Kendrick P:lolrkins as their center.

I'm not even sure if this OKC team could overcome the revamped mavs tbh, even if they get their alpha back 100% healthy, both physically and mentally, they're still a top 4 team in the west though, with conference finals being their ceiling.

The top four teams in the western conference the coming season will be: Spurs, Clippers, OKC and dem Mavs (in no specific order). while the likes of Warriors, Memphis and Rockets are locked playoff teams, which leaves only one playoff spot available for competition involving up to 4 to 5 teams.

Dirk's proved to be just as good as the 11' German allah who won us the championship, and we've refurbished the squad with a lot of solid signings such as Monta, Calderon and my nigga Dejuan, another DMC combination attached to our team besides the one we've had two years prior (Dirk, Marion, Carter). I'm not gonna say we'd have any chance to replicate 11 in the coming season because I believe Miami's 3-peat is guaranteed, but it's no hyperbole to say that our team is now the strongest it's been since TC's departure. Our team played rather bad the past two season which imho was mainly cause dirk was playing with an injured knee, but he's fully healthy now and he'll prove wrong those idiots who've mistaken him as a TOSB

This hinges a lot on Brooks and how he chooses to go forward with his coaching. I think we've seen that OKC is about a #2-3 team in the league as is, but I think Brooks has to be more creative, instill more of an actual offensive system, and let go of his fascination with Perk and Fisher for OKC to move forward. Westbrook being out, I've read and agree with, could potentially be a positive thing long term as it forces some of the bench guys to develop quicker and forces Brooks to implement a more flexible offensive system. I really really think Jackson is legit. I have no clue on Lamb yet..he's just not shown anything, but the potential is there. I think Ibaka will continue to improve and based on what's coming out of the preseason, it appears as though his post game has improved noticeably, so we'll see if he introduces a more versatile offensive game. Also in the mix here is Adams. Many wrote him off as just a Tulsa D leaguer this year, but I think preseason has shown this guy could see floor time a lot sooner than later. He's showing us what Perk has never and will never show us at center. I think if Ibaka can become more than a perimeter shooter, Brooks actually becomes a flexible coach, and Lamb and Adams develop, you have all the makings. I do NOT think OKC goes to the Finals again with Perk playing any significant minutes at the center position and Brooks not implementing a more flexible offensive system/rotations. OKC has struck out a lot at the center position in terms of drafting, but it appears they might have something in Adams. I'm not calling it out just yet, but I will say he does appear to be far ahead of anyone else they drafted at center at this point in his development.

As long as Westbrook is the PG? Nope. Presti made the mistake of signing Ibaka instead of Harden. And Perk's contract is an albatross. So it's on Sam.
