Then after I thought about it, I tried to convey to him what he might have missed.
He responded as you can see with a rather feeble attempt at ridicule, and tried a side tracking tactic with the "formatting" ploy.

I've met plenty of hard core theists in my lifetime. They all want to get to Heaven, they sing about how they cannot wait to see God. None of them are ready to die to get there however. When death threatens, they seek non-god related assistance to get them out of it. Only the Muslim terrorist is ready to die to meet his god.
