Manu is going to turn back the clock this season and make all of you doubters doubt yourselves.
Timmy is going to play the high level he always does, proving once again that he is still the best big man in the NBA.
Tony will once again electrify this league and solidify himself as one of the top point guards of the season.
Pop will once again show everone why he is the greatest coach in the league, and one of the greatest coaches in basketball history.

Pulling for Manu too! But this is still just pre-season. There are a lot of miles ahead. I hope he and the team stay healthy. The NBA season is very rigorous on our older guys.

A Manu of 2011-2012, of course healthy is very fine with me. It would be very nice if Manu of 2009-2011.

Out of character: Fuck that, I'm pulling for the whole team to come back and fuck the NBA up on the way to a championship and I expect Manu to lead that charge. It's go time!

Manu is bigtime responsible for us not winning the title last year, he was garbage last season, didn't feel that last season he came with the necessary desire, he was shade of himsef in terms of passion, work ethic and persistence last season, and that what caused him that horrible playoff and final... just being real...

actually some are. saying that, "this finals loss wasn't his fault". statements like that lead me to believe people actually think he played well in the finals. and we all know that shit isn't true

Manu Ginobili is part of the San Antonio Spurs, he has had an excellent career, and has given the people of San Antonio years of "oo's and ah's" and amazing performances to boot. Before you people started damning him for his mistakes, you forgot how he was carrying our Spurs with one arm in the 2011 playoffs. Then, he played his heart out to keep us in the OKC series in 2012. He had a bad season, and yes, an even worse playoffs, but that's Manu Ginobili you are talking about, and he's going down in Spurs lore as one of the greatest warriors to ever wear silver and black, so you should cherish while we still have him around, and watch his awesomeness.
By the way, this season, he's due for a resurgence. Don't think so? People didn't think Duncan would either, so that's okay.

No, you are completely misleading people.
People are saying that Manu had a bad finals for the most part, but the loss was due to a lot more than just his mistakes, Timmy, Kawhi, Tiago, Tony, Danny, Bonner, Boris, Gary, and Pop all made mistakes.
It is preposterous to attribute the whole loss of the finals to just one or two people!
That is the epitome of stupidity!
That is what people are not only saying but also showing statistically.
So get it right!

The problem with Manu last season is not mainely his bad season, playoff and finals, the problem is Manu not being with much commitment to the team, he wasn't the warrior we all know, his heart was missing, fans didn't feel he was 100% devoted...

Duncan will get old. Fast.
Parker will burn out before the playoffs.
Manu will stink it up before pulling a hammy.
Spurs lose no later than second round.

Manu was a very flawed and inconsistent player in his heyday.. The high's usually outweighed the lows. Now he is basically shot physically.. So no he won't be turning back the clock..

If Manu can stay healthy he has a good shot at a productive season. He is still one of my favorite players.
