Kobe Bryant has made progress in his return from a torn Achillies and intended to test himself in the Los Angeles Lakers' practice in Beijing.

Bryant believes he would likely be able to make his return right now if it were the playoffs.

"If today was a playoff or NBA Finals, could I play? Probably," Bryant said. "I'd get out there and do something."
When asked about the state of his Achillies, Bryant said: "I haven't any pain or any soreness whatsoever. It's a flexibility thing and getting the range of motion back."

part of me just wants this cancer to retire, but knowing he'll continue to sink the Lakers, i hope he sticks around for awhile.

Well, if the NBA Finals started today he would definitely not need to play, tbh...

Why play when they're just going to get swept?

Lakers have a good thing going for them now, with Pau, Nash, Kaman and others team players. So he better return only in playoffs and not at the beginning or middle of the regular season ' cause if he does, he'd surely be killing their chances of making it to the playoffs.
