maybe Nailon wants to come back to Texas. I dont know how much money the hornets have left, but Nailon would be a good pick up for the spurs in my opinion for the back up SF position

What are your thoughts?

he also might be looking for a larger contract than what the spurs can offer him

If the Spurs are going with someone a bit long in the tooth, I'd rather it be 32 YO Big Dog. Nailon falls into the Eddie Robinson bin: someone that would have been nice to sign and develop 5 years ago.

As a 12th man, sure. He doesn't have the 3 point range you'd like in a prospective backup 3.

yeah I just noticed that to Marcus, so he might not be a good pick up after all; the spurs need their SF to play on the perimeter to make space for duncan to post up.

as long as big dog gets back into basketball shape for next season. I want him to look like the big dog we all knew back in the day when he was a spur killer playing for the bucks

He actually wasn't in bad shape, all things and his layoff considered. He's never been a gazelle on the court.

Yeah, give him a full season to get familiar with his teammates and get his timing back and he will be rather deadly in the Spurs' offense.

I think the Spurs wouldn't mind having him back. I think they are muting their interest to help keep his market price down.
