I used to listen to him about 20 years ago when we could pick his show up in the DFW area. Just started to listen to him again on Sirius. I didn't realize what a great interviewer he really is. Aside from all of the shock schtick, he's very good at asking the questions that I want to hear answered. Today he was interviewing Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger. Which I would think would be the most uninteresting pair possible. But Howard did a good job making it a fairly compelling segment. Any one else still listen to him? Or do you broke motherfuckers not have Sirius radio.

I still tune in from time to time, but mainly I listen to clips from old episodes (early '90s-mid 2000's) on YouTube.

I tune in sometimes but I'm either listening to MSNBC, HLN, The Foxhole (with Jamie Fox), or one of the Sex stations...I find the sex channels to be very entertaining shit is quite awesome to be honest http://www.siriusxm.com/spiceradio/weeklyschedule

I can't listen to the sex shows. They'll start talking about different male issues and symptoms and I fucking become a hypochondriac and thing my weenie is about to fall off.

wtf...this doesn't sound like the same channel I was thinking of. like one above or below Howard Stern's channels? every time I land on it, some doctor is talking about the color of semen or something.

I listen to Stern everyday and have since around 2000. Yes, he's one of the best interviewers out there. Can make nearly anybody interesting. But I think his interactions with his team and the Wack Pack are the best parts of the show. I also think it's really funny that he is becoming more and more like his mother as he ages—his parodies of her almost being a sort of self-fulfilling prophecy.

Yep. And the team these days just isn't as interesting as in years past (No Jackie/Artie/KC), imo.

My all-time favorite Stern "character" is probably the elegant one, Elliott Offen. I could listen to that freak all day.

I don't really miss Jackie. Loved what Artie brought to the show and definitely miss that—Schule is funny but he's no Artie Lang. But I do get a big kick out of Richard and Sal. Even John Lieberman cracks me up with his stories on the Wack Pack. I like his approach better than Steve Langford's.

Langford kinda creeps me out, and not really in a funny way.

Richard and Sal are great, and Ronnie occasionally has some great moments ("Let's fuck some whores", etc).

Shows really gone downhill. Was really hoping he would have some professional comic like Dave Attell sit in the Artie/Jackie chair but he cheaped out and went with shulie which has been a disaster imo guys worthless
