wtf?
four 50 plus winners in the east?
Give me a fucking break, and continue dreaming about your Eastern conference.
BTW...
The Cavaliers made good offseason moves with Hughes, Marshall, and resigning their Center.
That's why they are up there.

Wow. I am shocked that people actually had Philly as a top team in the EAST!! Even I don't think they are....:lol
1) Pistons
2) Heat
3) Nets
4) Pacers
5) Cavs
...and why do people think Chicago is a top team? They are young and still far from being a top team (even in the East).

Ya I don't get the Philly love either. There is some talent there to be sure, but they don't have any of the chemistry needed to make any true push. They'll be out in the first or second round.

They may not be top 3...but could easily be top 4-7. A very young, athletic squad that is starting to gain some confidence. They can easily outscore many teams, and show a least an effort at defense.....as opposed to a team like Cleveland (which many ppl have as a top 5). Their still a couple of years away, but they could be one of those teams that you don't want to face in the first round. And if they add Finley like some rumors claim, they may have a little bit of a run in them.

Philly actually has great chemistry. That isn't their problem. Many fans seem to think that AI has a negative influence on the team, but in reality he's really matured in that area. If you watch post game interviews with the rookies on the team, or you go to a LIVE Sixers game, you always, always see AI cheering on his teammates when he's on the bench, igniting them with passion in huddles, etc. He may not be the quiet leader that Tim Duncan is, or the confident leader that Chancey Billups is, but AI leads the Sixers in his own way. I think they main problem with the Sixers was coaching. Ever since LB left, we've had shitty coaches who didn't know what to do with the mish-mash of talent that the Sixers have. They need to work out a better system and they could go farther than the first round.
As for Chicago, granted I don't really follow them, but from what games I did see, I didn't think they were so great as to warrant them being a Top 5 team in the East.
