Great resilience from the Lakers! Truly the hallmark of a champion team, or a contender for the title, at the very least.

tbh I'll probably give them the Marlins/Florida Panthers treatment this year, where I just passively follow them. If they start out losing as expected I hope attendance and ratings miraculously fall off. Simpletons with an antiquated sense of fandom will call that bandwagoning, but real fans won't give their time or money to a shitty product--which will in turn affect change faster. We don't wanna become the Dallas Cowboys.

I'll watch games but I won't expect much though. Probably same shit from last year but with more apt material this year -- 8th seed ecstasy will be it for the Lakers and its fans this season.

It's rarely a problem at the start of the season... Mike D will run him to the ground quick enough though
