WTF is up with tickets being astronomically high for this game? Is this usual on Saturday's close to holidays or is it because of Kevin Durant starpower?

Crazy expensive. Nosebleeds in the mid 100's.

It's called dynamic pricing and the Spurs have used it since the 2007-08 season. Back then the Phoenix and Dallas games were priced higher, along with the Laker games. For the pre-RRT games, season ticket holders were able to buy individual game tickets with the season ticket discount to all but three games; both Houston games and the 12/21 OKC game.

Teams usually don't publicize the practice, but the St Louis Cardinals have an explanation on their website:

Anyway, cheaper tickets to that game are available:
