What are they going to do? Attack farmers that sell to US firms? That would help domestic production. Substitute corn for weed. Within a decade the cartels would lose a lot of capacity for that; cocaine and heroin are not made in Mexico for the most part. They can try and attack Carolina, KY and other prime cannabis growing territory but that would be difficult to sustain.
