....is the last pale face running back to gain a 1000 yards in an NFL season, the last before him was Craig James why back in the 80's as a Patriot. Hillis is like most white running backs, he's a tackle breaker with little zip. He can't outrun defensive backs. He'll hit the hole with some short range quicks, then drag a tackler 3.8 yards or so. Sure we've seen the exceptions but all but Danny Woodhead played long ago.

The great Hugh "The King" McElhenny was a Cali State 110hh champion, cat had some speed and incredible agility/elusiveness. Still considered one of the greatest broken field runners ever. He was amazing.

"Jaguar" Jon Arnett was a gymnast/sprinter, he was actually faster than McElhenny and almost as elusive. Last great white kick returner.

Dickie Post like Danny Woodhead was a Charger and had some quicks.

Craig James had some speed, was a 9.6 guy in HS.

Frank Gifford and Paul Hornung were all purpose guys, they could run.

Then there's Peyton Hillis and all those similiar to him like....Mike Alstott, Jim Taylor, Larry Csonka, John Riggins, Ken Williard, Walt Garrison.

John David Crow out of Texas A&M and Miami's Rick Casares were a lot like Hillis only faster both had 1000 yard seasons, Crow as a Cardinal and Casares as a Bear. The best pale face Giant back....Alex Webster, yep...a banger. Can't talk pale face backs and not mention Charger Keith Lincoln, who scored...

pass fot td
rush for td
receive for td
return a punt
return a kickoff
PAT
field goal

There have been a lot of white cornerbacks, but you are talking about USC's Jason Seahorn.

Kenny Buyers of North Texas. Only a sophomore and will likely get some all-conference consideration, whiteboy might end up getting a shot at the NFL if he keeps it up.

It really is the speed difference as to why white cornerbacks are very rare, they can't run a 4.4 which they need to play that position.

I'd be shocked if he made an NFL team.
