I'd take Vesely as a project PF in an heartbeat but I don't see it happening now that they paid Ayers significant money for essentially the same role (project PF who's battling with Bonner for minutes...)...

Now that singleton is an expiring, spurs should do a small trade for him with Nando + 2nd. Spare parts on both teams currently, fill gaps on the bench for the prospective new team.

Vessely would be a great pickup. I like his game but its a project. Its unprecedented that the 6th pick in the draft two seasons ago was cut.

The Spurs still have a roster spot open. De Colo could be waived but his $1.4 could be valuable in a combo for an upcoming trade

It was somewhat expected. Now, it changes little for Spurs since they haven't been waived by Washington. If Wizards waive Vesely to trim their roster at 15, I would be for Spurs signing him but rumors are that he won't one of the cut players.

Vesely has been horrible. There's a reason his option was not picked up.

Singleton has the dreaded 5th metatarsal fracture. Caution would be advised.
