Is anyone seeing some of these nasty ass plays he is making? This dude is fucking on another level.

Seriously, Manning is not even in the same ballpark as Rodgers.

Ghazi you got jokes tonight.

Rodgers is damn good and definitely top 5, but he is a system QB. take him out of Green Bay and he would be a borderline top 10 QB.

What system would that be, tbh?:lol

Take Rodgers out of GB and that team goes 1-15. He has a lousy defense, lousy ST, lousy HC, a fat running back, and only one healthy receiver

kinda like when he sat out and Matt Flynn broke Brett Favre's records?

Green Bay would still win 10 games without Rodgers.

Saints offense was still very good last season. Better than this season's offense so far. Worst defense ever tbh.

lol Drew led the NFL in yards and touchdowns last year clown.

sure he was off a bit, but ALL the pressure was on him. the Goodell agenda won last year. no team could compete against that.

Matt Cassel won 11 games in New England, I guess that means Brady's even more of a system quarterback by your logic.... oh, and when the Chargers went Brees go, the Philbilly led the Chargers to 14 wins the very next season, guess Brees is a system QB too :lol

According to ESPN's QBR rankings for Drew Brees:

2013: 3rd(1st or 2nd following today's game)
2012: 9th
2011: 2nd

What happened in 2012, tbh?..was a certain elite coach missing from the equation?..

Brees is a very good QB, tbh, especially for a guy his size, but it's evident that Sean Payton is the most important person in the Saints organization..

I have a lot of respect for the Saints, tbh..

A top 5 QB, the best coach in football, the best TE in the NFL, and a much improved defense..they're my pick for the NFC, elite system, tbh..

Drew has no excuses if he can't win with this supporting cast, tbh..

so leading the NFL in yards, touchdowns, and being ranked 9th in some silly ESPN ranking is bad? you do realize there was an agenda against the Saints that season right? if anything it is impressive that he was able to do as well as he did last year.

Roger Goodell and the NFL have been under pressure from all of these concussion lawsuits and media hype, so they decided to take a stand by picking one of the most popular teams in the NFL and saying ... "hey guys! see! we are doing something about it!". Any player past or present will tell you that type of shit has gone on since the beginning when the game was created and that 90% of it is locker room shit talking.

:lol son MVP awards are about as legit as All Star and Pro-Bowl selections. the NBA is the worst, but the NFL is a close second.

the Associate Press awards are more legit than the NFL ones TBH. they typically pick based on facts and stats. the NFL picks winners based on emotion and pushing certain star players to help sell tickets.

Rex Ryan deserves as much credit as Payton does so far. Saints defense has been better than the offense so far even with alot of injuries. More injuries defensively than offensively. Biggest difference with Brees this season is the turnovers, but he had to do alot more considering how bad the defense was last season.

this is true.

Rodgers was definitely deserving of the award that year with Brees a close second. Brees was robbed in 2009 by the typical Manning love, but he won the AP Player of the Year award and won the MVP award that really counts that year .... Super Bowl MVP.

Rivers wasn't great in that game either. But he had to deal with Marty ball too much which was the real problem. Marty always tried to play not to lose, especially late in games.

Marty ball killed the Chargers in 2004 against the Jets by trying for a FG in OT and allowing Kaeding to choke.

But Payton has had his choke moments too. 2010 at Seattle, 2011 at San Fran. Obviously Gregg Williams was the culprit in both games, but it still happened under Payton. Also in the 2006 NFC title game at Chicago, Payton went away from Deuce and the running game and let the Bears pass rush kill Brees and the o-line. And Payton did a shitty job in general in 2007 and 2008. His play-calling cost the team quite a few games, especially his man-crush for Bush who got way too much playing time over Pierre Thomas. But Payton has become elite now.

Martyball also fucked us in '06 when Marty blew a crucial timeout by challenging McCree's obvious fumble, tbh.... I've heard rumors that the day of the game, Marty was literally shaking with fear and needed his assistants to calm him down enough to coach - don't know if they're true, but he was such a pussy in the playoffs that it isn't really a stretch :lol

Makes sense considering how often his teams choked away playoff games whether in Cleveland, KC, or San Diego. His teams had some awful close playoff losses where they probably should have won most of those games. He had teams that were 13-3, 14-2, etc lose home playoff games where they easily should have won. Peytonesque to be honest..
