Just wanted to let y'all know that I went yesterday and it was an amazing experience. The Spurs are by far my favorite sports team, yet I never went to a game, which I can mainly attribute to living in the Houston area and never having any friends who were avid Spurs fans such as myself. Even my brother chose to be a Lakers fan. But when I just happened to visit ST check out the game thread right as xellos posted, I took that as a sign that I have to go. So I took a 4 hour drive to SA right after getting out of class and made it before the end of the 1st quarter.
It was awesome being surrounded by Spurs fans and watching the opening game to start off what I believe will be another great season. I couldn't have asked for a better first game experience.
So I want to sincerely thank xellos88330 for the tickets, and all the STers for being my Spurs family.
