we haven't seen him play like this and put up those kind of numbers since 2007-2010 when he was with the Hornets.

Good to see you active son. How's the family?

Son he was the MVP in 2008 tbh. He didn't really stand out after that though. For some reason, he's always been or played hurt.

BTW why haven't they changed the logo and the name?

I think injuries have held him back a little, he's still the best PG and he shows flashes of greatness but he hasn't led any of his teams past the 2nd round and he's always limping at the end of games, and he said he would retire earlier for the sake of his children.

He hasn't been the same since 09.

I finally figured out Paul. He's the best PG in the league. Until it matters...

Chris Paul will not get his conference final cherry popped this year. The guy is overrated. Yeah, I said it.

PG-led teams never go too far in the playoffs imho, per DoK's classic theory. The Phoenix suns made the WCF back then and that was already a miracle.

Having 17fTA doesn't hurt either.

Still, the Warriors shot like 57% from 3 and 52% from the field. No way that's good defense for LA. If CP3 has to have those numbers to beat the Warriors, they are fucked. I'm sure Doc isn't happy about allowing that kind of success, despite the output from his own team. That scoring output has to go down to mid 90's or so to be competitive. Funny though that some still think having a gawdy stat line for a PG is a great thing. It's a bad sign actually.

I don't quite agree with that, PGs can lead their teams to titles, they just need a stacked roster like the 80s Lakers or Pistons, or even last year's Spurs(before Parker got injured and we choked with 28 seconds to go).

it just happens that a pg hasn't been the best player in the NBA for a long time. that doesn't mean a pg led team can't win a championship

Chris Paul is a badman.. He just surrounded by bigs that can't create. Set him up with a Big that knows how to create a shot, and he'll make it out the 2nd.. .for now Chris just has to deal with his bigs taking 3's on their butt.

That's not what DoK said. He said a team who's best player is a PG won't win the ring. A great PG leads the team, but that doesn't mean he's the best player on the team. A stacked team with a great PG probably blurs the line between who's best on the team, and you cannot say one or the other is best.

Otherwise these high end PGs would get much further in the post season than they do.

Look at them:

What high end PG even played in the conference Finals? Parker would be the only one, but his game isn't to dominate the stat sheet.

bro you talking about the time (80s) when the theory's father DoK hadn't been born yet, and I don't think it was Chauncey or anyone else that led the Pistons to the 04 title imho. The media hyped him as the #1 of that team and the team gave him the #1 jersey when there was in fact no #1 on that team. It was absolutely teamwork that won them the title and the lakershow was disbanded in the aftermath.
