Aren't we usually on the tail end of a back to back when we play them? I don't know but that ends tonight. Spurs win by double-digits!

Yep, they're usually the butt of a back to back.

Cause Parker doesn't play against them.

But every team will have that one team they struggle against

I remember last season Neal had a huge game against the Blazers. That game was fuckkng intense! We won by the way. But yeah we usually play bad against them ..the 40 point loss and the batum alley oop game winner come to mind.

Always a back to back. I think that trend ended last year.

I remember LMA and Hickson picking and popping our asses off. That is the one shot we want to give up and they happen to be extremely good at it.

Nic Batum usually goes crazy against us as well.

Not the last few years.

Well, in the past couple if years we've been able to take care of the bucks, but we still sort of struggle. But not as bad as against the blazers on their floor. It's like they can't miss!

AND here we go again with his shit.......... Another loss coming to that Portland team. It is almost a given now.

Yep, once again this crap and another loss there coming. I might start betting on these games damnit, I would win some money because it's a given we lose there.

You gotta admit though, it's got fluke written all over it. Tiago and Green with a couple of eggs, Kawhi with just 1 board. Heck, the at they're playing you'd think they're down by at least 15.

It always begins with Aldridge, tbh..

He's one of the most overrated players in the league..he's really soft, just shoots jump shots all game, doesn't have the mentality to step up when his team needs him, but when he plays against the Spurs he becomes an unstoppable force that doesn't miss shots and cares about being a #1 guy, all of a sudden, tbh..

That generally opens shit up for the rest of the team..

yeah blazers always give spurs a run for there money but always suck against the other nba teams lol....plus they don't make the play offs

No fluke, it is what happens when we play that team...... Things like this happen everytime we play that team.

Yep, it gets old. They will lose a ton of games and miss the playoffs but beat the Spurs. If they made the playoffs we would beat them IMO, but during the year forget it and bet against the Spurs because you will win money.

Seems like SA always and I mean always play them on a b2b, it's either a b2b or SA plays them after a grueling set of games.

The short version is the spurs designed defense wants teams to take 12' to 18' jumps shots because its not an efficient shot for most teams. The trailblazers have had guy for the last decade that pretty much make that their main shot. Most teams contest them meaning they shoot a so-so shot at a rate well enough to make it close, the spurs don't really contest making them shoot typically at just over 40% on average meaning a spurs loss.

They scored like 250 against the Spurs in the last two games, Pop might want to think about adjusting at some point...

These west coast swings are often back to backs. The reason they beat us is because they have hot shooters and LaMarcus Aldridge is a beast. If only he could be a Spur when Timmy hangs em up. I tell my wife all the time what a badass LMA is. He's better than Zach Randolph for sure. He's been a consistent baller for years.

Does anybody know if we played them more on the road the last few years? I have the feeling we play them 3 times every season, but two games are always in Portland .... On the second night of a b2b as well. Tonight this is no excuse though as they played in Denver which is tough.

If I had a choice, I'd want my 2nd of the b2b game to be at home, against a team that is on a b2b away from home.

They are always young and athletic. The run like crazy and take it to the hoop all
the time. And yes, the 2nd game on a B2B.

i've noticed that trend. i always figured it was a combination of the travel distance and the portland crowd. they usually play them on the back end of a back to back makes more sense though.

How many titles and playoff wins do you have to prove that? Hell how many series wins in the last 10 years? Your full of shit and thats all. Meet them in the playoffs.

Like I said TLONG you won your little yearly title by beating the Spurs at the Garden, guess you can be happy now for the rest of the year based on that since thats all you live for :lol:lol
