Get your shit together Danny. You're going to lose them precious minutes to Marco and with Manu playing like he's in his late 20's lately, you could be looking at 15mpg. Love Manu, and Marco but hopefully Danny is just having a prolonged hangover. This team would still be better off with danny playing 25+ minutes IMO.

Teams are chasing him off the line everytime now and he pretty much cant do shit INSIDE the 3 point line thus far, hope he steps up, work a lil harder to get open for 3's or something cuz Belly >> DG so far

All I'm going to say is that Bellineli wouldn't look too bad starting at the two, but in no way am I advocating for a trade at this point in the season.

Green never developed an extra skill to his game. The guy can't dribble, do a lay up, do anything outside shooter the open 3

He's got no game. He's got nothing. All you need when you're a 3point specialist is ONE OTHER OFFENSIVE SKILL, JUST ONE to pull out when you're being run off the line, and Green doesn't have one.

BONNER HAS ONE, and Green doesn't. The guy is not fit to be playing big minutes.
People defend him for his defence, and yeah he does have his defensive moments, but they are just moments, not periods of any decent consistency.

Hopefully other teams only remember Game 1-5 of the Finals, forget about game 6-7 and the start of this season, and offer a wicked trade piece for him :lol

good news for spurs is they haven't offered him a huge contract yet, bad news for Green himself of course. Very unlucky for him tbh, dude could've pretended injured till his contract expires so some stupid GM would offer him a lucrative contract based upon his good performance during a one-month span or something, like Jeremy Rin, instead of playing for less than 1m a year and exposing himself a scrub before anyone bites the bait.

I'm wondering what percentage of people campaigning against green have watched the spurs over the last 2 years.

Green is the definition of "streaky." For five games he'll shoot 70%. Next five games he'll shoot 20%.

Fact is, when he's on a hot streak, he makes the spurs damn near impossible to stop. See finals games 1-5.

Replacing him in the starting lineup 3 games into the season is patently idiotic. Be ashamed, GNSFs.

Three games into the season and Danny Green is apparently done. Why not wait for a bigger sample? It's not like he averaged 20 points a game last year. His scoring was up and down. He plays because of his defense.

Green plays better D in his sleep than either Marco or Manu

He's proven to be a valuable option at SG

He's hit game winning shots

He's set records

He's shut down the baby face of the West Coast NBA that has green eyes

And it's only 3 games in.

:lol the NBA season is meaningless until January, tbh..

I criticized Danny Green all of last year for his limited skills, but the nigga proved himself in the playoffs..he's a streaky shooter, this isn't anything new, but his defense is generally consistent, and he's a key player for this team, tbh..it's 3 games into the season, relax, tbh..

If we based everything on the 1st quarter of the season, then the Clippers would have been by far the best team in the league last season, and Miami would have been eliminated in the 2nd round, tbh..

People are up in DG's shit right now, but it's true ... even Bonner has more moves than Green.

Ehh... other than the Blazer game, I haven't been impressed with Marco. I'm on his bandwagon but the forum is overrating him so far.

Green is still a guy I want in the playoffs. People are being too rough on him. Do people not remember we started players like washed up Finley and scrubs Mason Jr. and Bogans at the 2 before Green came along? :lol

Is it really surprising though? This is the same forum that kept ignoring how shitty Stephen Jackson was last year. It was common to hear "Don't worry, Sjax will turn it on for the playoffs" SJax isn't even in the league anymore :lol

Damned straight. There were a number of posters who wanted Jack to start over Green. He's either overrated our horribly underrated.
