YOU GON HIT ME LATE? BETTER BE ABLE TO BACK IT UP.

CARY WHO? GET OFF ME.

Like em or hate em, can't ignore his accomplishments. Hall of Fame vote undeniable. Legacy undeniable. Not a single DB can guard this dude 1 v. 1. What other receiver is 5'9 and has his stats? 35 years old and still the baddest mo fo out there.

I can posts gifs and crazy touchdown catches for days.

Respect.

He was also a huge faggot tbh.

The most unrealistic part of The Dark Knight Rises was Hines running back a kickoff for a touchdown tbh.

Hines Ward wins by a landslide, but yeah Steve is pretty tough for today's standards.

Chad was spectacular, but some of those throws by Palmer were incredible. people forget how good both of them were

Also sad how Chad's career ended, he had at least 2-3 productive years left, he just couldn't get his shit together, he had his chance with the Dolphins and fucked up...

Yep. After this hit he had surgery for a fractured sinus membrane, which required 7 plates and 40 screws to fix, and he only missed two games. Toughest player regardless of position tbh

Smith is well on his way to a HOF career, hell his...

12,917 receivinhg yards are superior to a ton of current HOFs as is his 836 career receptions, look at Michael Irvin for one example with 750/11, 904. Lynn Swann.....hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!

Tough wide receivers, hmmmm?

The Chiefs Otis Taylor (6-4 220) was the first of the big/fast/physical wide receiver. He was a load and ran like a fullback after the catch. Like Hines Ward he was a college QB while at Prairie View.

Andre Rison the old Michigan Stater had an attitude.

Then there was Arizona State running back Charley Taylor. The Redskins tried him at running back, he didn't cut it, so they switched him to receiver (just like they had the great Bobby Mitchell). There he flourished. He ran like a running back with that same...grrrrrrr.

Steve Smith has more yards than Hines Ward but will need a couple more seasons to pass him with receptions.

Those I mentioned along with a cat out of Grambling named Sammie White (Vikings) were the toughest wide receivers I've ever seen. White had a 1000 yards his rookie year and had a real "come get some" attitude.
