Coincidentally, one week after Brown and the Pistons parted ways, Brown's former club offered Darko Milicic to the Atlanta Hawks for Al Harrington. Brown's reluctance to play the unproven second-year forward caused a rift between the coach and Detroit president Joe Dumars. Now it appears the Pistons are willing to trade the second overall pick of the 2003 draft.

Pistons Director of Player Personell John Hammonds commented to WDFN (as MUHME knows, is 1 of 2 sports talk stations in Detroit) today saying the story by Frank Isola of the NY Daily News is completely untrue and that the Pistons are not shopping Darko at all.... It was likely planted by Larry Brown who is the focus of the article in the first place....

Larry's a fricking joke.... Wouldn't surprise me at all....
