tbh Doc doesn't have one.

Overachieved for a couple of seasons in Orlando, then lost out his meal ticket for the next ten years in Tim Duncan for the silliest of reasons. Boston wasn't much different either, had a great defensive squad in KG, Perk, Posey & Pierce. Should've won atleast 3 championships by now.

They should have won three but Kobe happened.

Don't forget that for several years in Boston, many Cs fans were calling for his head, including that guy Bill Simmons. His stint in Boston before 2008 was terrible.

Doc is overrated as fk. CP3 is an idiot for making the FO go after him, even SVG would have been a better option, imo.

Rivers is not overrated, but he has no legacy at this time imho.

mmm I thought he is one of the most respected coaches currently. At least that is the impression I get from the commentators.

will the clippers expose him?

Still building a legacy. Not too many coaches besides GP and maybe ES have a legacy at this point...this team is an interesting one--infinitely talented but the basketball IQ is murky beyond CP3. Jury is still out and will be for at least 2-3 seasons.

this.
He's had one good season.
2010 even with the ref riggin, Boston was so much better then the Fakers, he should have won.

well, they did make the Finals 3 times. Won once and I believe had a major injury in another Final. Not to mention one season after that KG was injured I think.

Had the ball bounced a different way Doc would possibly have 3 championships. No shame in losing to the Gasol/Kobe/Jackson Lakers IMO, the same team pushed Popovich's shit in with ease.

Overrated or not, he's still one of the best (as in top 5) coaches in the NBA. He (and the Clippers) will be fine. They're still working shit out, oh and CP3 was remarkably unclutch last night.

He's considered a good coach because he's one of four coaches in the league with a ring. Alongside Pop, Philibeaner Jackson, and Carlisle.

I wasn't aware Phil Jackson was in the league I think he was trying to allude to Erik Spoelstra being a Fillipino-****** version of Phil Jackson.

This is becoming a recurring theme, it seems

What 5 coaches would you put over him? After Pop, Thibs & Vogel, there's a pretty steep drop-off in quality

Clippers are still not built for a championship, imo. Great team, scary team on any given night in the NBA, but you've got some pretty significant frontcourt defense issues and as good offensively as the Reddick, Crawford duo is, both of those guys are actually atrocious defenders. This team can get hot and light anyone up, but over the long haul of the NBA playoffs, I think their weaker defense will be exposed.

I wonder what GM Chris Paul thinks about this acquisition now...
