View Full Version : Rockets: No one had a problem with Blake taking that last shot at the end of the game?

Apparently Rin should've been elsewhere than inside the arms of an old Canadian faggot tbh.

Nash with the Stockton screen, best and most underrated part about this play, tbh.

Dude, it was a well design play. Notice how the Lakers clearly wanted to screen both of the Rockets guard, why, because Howard had this same tendency last year of not closing out players on the perimeter.

D'antoni knew who was the Rockets weakest leak defensively on the perimeter, and he attacked it. Even if Nash, who clearly grabbed Lin, didn't, Gasol would have been their to set the pick as well. Like I said, it was a well design play and Howard just needs to point the finger at himself for his horrible perimeter defense and his 5-16 FT shooting.

Team Leader Blake just hitting the shots he's supposed to.

Actually I have to credit Howard's awareness and athleticism, at least for this one play. Most centers wouldn't be able to challenge that shot at all, and he damn near blocked it.

Hard to defend when a team doesnt need a 3 pointer. I guess Howard was more concerned about Gasol than anything else.
Pringles made a risky play, in terms of: If miss, you have to explain what you didnt go to Gasol and try to score. On the other hand with less than 4 seconds, is usually a catch and shoot play.
Also see where Parsons is, guarding the easy layup to tie.

Anyway...great win by the Lakers, who are starting to be underrated.

Great call from Coach D'Antoni, and Lakers probably lose this game if they were fully healthy, tbh..
