:lol Kobe trolling this dude...knowing good and well he won't crack more than 15ppg

"I think he'll have a great year," Bryant said of Howard. "He's always very determined to be more of an offensive player. Here in Houston he'll have the opportunity to do that. He always wanted to compete with some of the all-time greats, the Chamberlains and Shaqs and Olajuwons and so forth. This year should be the year where he starts putting up those kind of numbers — 25, 26 (points per game), stuff like that."

Comments from Rockets Fans after the loss: :lmao

The Spurs have lost at home to LA when missing Bryant and not having either Shaq or Howard. It happens.

The question has always been who was going to teach Howard to pay basketball. The answer is still being awaiting. Perhaps Howard doesn't want to learn how to play basketball.

I live in Houston and I'm a Rocket fan, but if this game was any indication of the kind of basketball the rockets are going to play then I agree with Shaq. The Rockets are no going to win a championship, not playing like this. Too many ball hogs, J. Harden want pass the ball, he only look for his shot, no defense. J. Lin only pass when he can't shoot, no defense. P. Beverly is nobodies PG, he does try to play defense but can't. C. Parson, this guy looked lost the whole night, will hog the ball too and no defense. Too much one on one, this is a team game.

Houstonians why is this happening to us? The Texans, Rockets and Astros are all losers. Why can't we have a winner. Because WINNING STARTS AT THE TOP AND WORK DOWN. Don't get mad or angry with the TNT guys, they only told you what you should have seen for yourselves in that game.

All of this coming from the original Hack a Shaq; the guy (Barkley) who could never get into a championship game; and the guy (Smith) whose only claim to fame was being lucky enough to be on a team with Hakeem Olajuwan. I found it all a little hard to take from that trio.

It's too early in the season to start complaining and jumping off the wagon, but the Asik and Howard combo has to stop. The whole team is off and on. I hope Morey and McHale realize it and start to make changes

I will give it some time but I was hoping to see Howard have some post moves after training with McHale and Dream.

:lol

It took a while for Miami to get it together too when they acquired LeBron and Bosh.

Irrelevant poster making incorrect claims about irrelevancy...so if you had to bring him up and the fact that he is still being discussed disproves a ton...But nonetheless, if he is happy he should thrive but Dwight is not where he was a few years ago and I'm not sure if he'll ever bring that potency back.

in all sports scoring is what it's about....Hockey is getting the puck in the net, soccer is about the goal, baseball is all about home runs and .RBI's....football the touchdown...women scoring the pussy...life is all about scoring :lmao

you're mistaking "being discussed" with "being laughed at" tbh. Also, Hitler is still being discussed, does that make him relevant in today's life?

wow, that's very retarded even by your standards tbh.. in soccer, scorers are always 3 at most on the same team, why would they need more defenders than scorers if it was only about scoring?

Being discussed or being made fun of is, well, one in the same if you think about it and it adds to relevancy still being at the core of the issue. The Hitler part isn't really necessary for your case because he is still relevant no matter the time--because he is still 'meme material' and oh, that he is still the symbol of genocidal comparison. I mean, he has that going for him...

how about vince young, is he still relevant? To some he might be--he was being talked about being brought back to the Packers. I'm sure if your a UT fan/alum or supporter, you still think he is relevant. He brought Mack Brown's only BCS championship and brought the Wonderlic Test to the forefront. Comparing him to Hitler is a stretch. Both are reflected upon as evil souls here in SoCal.

scoring and preventing a score, they are different actions.

And they both focus on scoring, the difference is defense focused on the opponent's scoring. Kevin, in all his stupidity, is correct in saying scoring is the only aspect in sports. It encompasses scoring by two or more teams.

You'd have to be incredibly stupid if you think Kobe is telling the truth.

Dwight should be putting up atleast 22-25 ppg. He's in his what like 8th season? That's actually a big man's peak and all the great big man like Russell, KAJ, Dream, Shaq & Duncan before have dominated at his age. The latter two were collecting their third Finals MVPs tbh.
