I'm taking the wife on a date and I need to know what movie I should take her to. We haven't seen anything that has come out lately.

Thanks.

Wedding Crashers. It was overall tacky, had a few intelligent moments (and a very memorable cameo by a certain comedic actor), and mostly was hugely hilarious!

Something thats romantic right? Or are you looking for something funny?

Me and my girl saw wedding crashers, besides the small amount of boobage, the movie was hilarious.

The island is good I hear.

Do you want free passes to Alamo Drafthouse. They are good for any movie, except in the first two weeks of release. You can take kids there. I'll mail some to you if you want them.

Could I get hooked up with a couple of those tickets Kori?

Oh, damn! I still have 2 that you gave me in my purse...I forgot all about that. I hate that it's so far away, though. :depressed

I had 2 free passes to the Galaxy, but they changed to something similar to the Draft House....the Rialto, I think.

On the passes to the Drafthouse, check the expiration date cause the passes I have (2) expires 8/31/2005. Girlfriend and I will probably see Batman Begins on Thursday.

We had a bunch that expired in August too, but I think that I gave them away already. The ones I have left have no expiration date.

I loaded that site up and saw up top that it had Vince Vaugn and Owen Wilson in it, so I closed that tab because I already know that movie will be hilarious.

Sure, if it was out yet man (Must Love Dogs).

I just remembered that this was a special Sneak showing on Sunday that we saw. Sorry about that. I guess it will be out soon, though.

I just saw Wedding Crashers last night.......Vince Vaugn is Hilarious!!! And, maybe this should be in the "Real Beauty" thread, but man....Owen Wilson is one ugly man! It was a funny movie all due to Vince Vaugn.

My only negative thing about the movie, it seemed like it kinda dragged towards the end and all the scenes with Owen and Rachel McAdams seemed too serious and chick flicky in light of the other comedy scenes.

Yea...I was going to say! Cuz, I wanted to see that too.

On a side note: I know I'm like 4 years late....but I just saw that movie Unfaithful, with Diane Lane........wow, it was suprisingly a very good movie! And did anyone else think that they guy she has the affair with seemed like a mix of Manu and Tony? :lol The guy was sexy, he was spanish, but had a french accent...

I've seen War of the Worlds, Bewitched, Crash, The Island, Batman Begins, Kicking and Screaming. I have to say that out of all those Batman Begins was the best. I saw it at the IMAX and it was very good. I am not Batman at all, but that movie was entertaining from the start to the end. Crash may be out of the theatres already, but is very good and challenges your mind.

So far this Summer, I've seen:

Batman Begins
Mr. and Mrs. Smith
Wedding Crashers
War of The Worlds
The Island

I have to say I've enjoyed them all very much. It has been a good summer.

Oh, and the Drafthouse passes that we used to see the Smiths were expired. But the manager asked me when I got them and I told her in the playoffs then she mentioned that they've had a problem with that and are accepting them even if they are expired.

Just an FYI if you have some that were expired at the point you got them.

Its pretty damn close to my favorite movie of all time no question.

Think of this, this is a NEW IDEA, no one has ever come up with the idea for "wedding crashers"

Also, the comedy was original and hilarious.

Vince Vaughn is an amazing talent.

"Didya do the motorboat??" lmfao :rollin

Just watched Wedding Crashers earlier and I highly recommend it. I don't watch many movies, especially comedies. I am very, very picky about comedies, this shit is funny. The last 45 minutes or so are kind of chick flickish, but the first hour is great. The crazy chick Vince Vaughn hooks up with is fucking hot. HOT!!!! Watch this flick. I downloaded it for free, but would have been happy with it if I paid for it.
