Probably the nastiest looking shot to the head of a pitcher I've ever seen. Clement was motionless for about five minutes.

He was released from the hospital Tuesday. He will fly back home with the team.

In high school one of our pitchers took one off the head like that. He ended up with a cracked eye socket and brain swelling. It can cause serious injury, good thing Clement is alright.

Clement is alright now and is with the team. I heard him talking about it last night.
