Talked to him a while before the game, and after the game asked him if he was fine since he didn't play in the second half, and he said he was "perfect". Some rest for the old guy.

Glad you had a great time man! Always fun to see a Spurs victory in person. Did there seem like there was quite a bit of Spurs fans there? Maybe it was just my telecast, but it seemed like I heard quite a few cheers for the road team.

Lots of Spursfans, especially near the bench... Arena was half-empty though

I saw him warm up late, which was odd, because he normally does his workout very early. After that I read he wouldn't play. He didn't even sit on the bench.
I love watching the team play, tbh... and I don't get a lot of chances here in the NE... so, yes it sucked a bit, but overall we had a great time.

:lol we talked for like 5 mins after he did his warmup, and then he headed out to sign for people before heading to the locker room, and my wife was like: "Awwww, we didn't get any pictures or anything signed"... So I went to where he was signing and got that picture (taken by the usher). tbh, it wasn't a good night to get stuff signed since they warmed up on the philly's bench side...
I did get like 4 philly player's autographs though :lol
Fuckin Nono with the badass seats, tbh... I'm targeting courtside tixs for the Nov. 30 game vs the Rox, anyone else going to that game?...

We talked a little bit of everything. Asked how were the kids doing, he said they don't want to learn english :lol
He also posted a photo a few days ago with Prigioni (http://twitpic.com/dkr0cd) eating Dulce de Leche icecream in New York, and actual, real dulce de leche icecream is hard as hell to find, so I asked him where the hell was that, he said it's an icecream place in Bleecker St in NY called "Cones". Said the owner is from Argentina.
Talked about last year, when we didn't know if we were going to see him again, or we would have to go look for him in Bahia Blanca... how it's been 10 years that we've been catching up whenever he comes to New Jersey (now Philly, because Brooklyn sucks). If we drove or took the train.
It's a lot of fun, whenever he sees us he comes over, and chats up for a while. He remembers us every year. Don't even need to bring my bright blue and white Arg jersey anymore :lol
Then we sit down and the guys around us are looking at us like woha, what just happened? :lmao
We speak all in Argentinean/Spanish too, obviously...

Dam that's tight. You mustve been doing this for awhile for him to recognize you and come over. Especially since you said you now go to Philly games. I hope I get his autograph before he retires. Time is running out.

I was close to getting him Duncan leonard tiago and greens autograph this year during the scrimmage but dumb ass me forgot to bring a sharpie.so I witnessed my friend get his hat signed by all of them plus sean ******. I was In front Row and worst of all all the video I shot was in this shitty 320x200 Blurry video. My phone wasn't set to 720p the entire time. Was pretty devastating considering the scenario. I Take it as hard as game 6 tbh
dang this is awesome for real with the look inside their huddle and stuff.

I'm in Jersey. But a few years ago we started driving down to Philly to see them too, because tix are so relatively cheap there. Now that the Nets moved to Brooklyn, we mostly only go to Philly.
Back in 2003, when Gino wasn't still 'famous', he used to jump in an online chat and chat with fans all the time (there was like 15 fans of him back then, his eventual wife Marianela sometimes would join in too). He always been a computer savvy guy. Anyways, back then he joined the Spurs and we met him when he came to NJ. From that point on, we've always got together when he comes to NJ (or Philly) and talk.

I bought two not-nearly-as-good-as-ElNono's seats for the Spurs at Pacers on March 31. It'll be my 11-year-old son's first in-person NBA game (and my first in ~23 years). It's less than a two-hour drive from Cincinnati.

Thanks Robz... the only basketball-wise semi-related stuff we talked about was that he has one more year left in his deal, and then "he'll see". And as I said previously, after the game I asked him if he was ok (because he didn't play in the 2nd half), and he said he was fine.
I mean, he writes columns about the basketball stuff all the time, I wasn't going to waste the opportunity on that.

Just met Ayres/Joseph/Leonard/Baynes/Bonner at Drake's concert. Most funny guy=Baynes More accessible for the fans=Ayers/Bonner Leonard=kind but he gets a bit tense in photos situation=shy guy. However, it was dark at the beginning and didn't take pics.
