Nando should pick up the towel since he has inherited Patty's 3rd backup PG position.

Cojo will never be the 2nd string pg again. Mills went into the off season with a plan, an accomplished it. Its practice an efforts shows dramatically. Im sure Pop has given him the green light to do what he does. Cojo gets in the game an seems to still be scared to make a mistake. So Cojo would be a step back if you ask me.

Why would he need to wave towels when he comes off the bench for Parker?

For that matter, CoJo and Nando better start practicing the Ninja.

The Spurs and their team culture have a way of motivating players. They don't always get it but Patty dedicated himself to mass improvement over the summer and it shows. To heck with the towel waving.

Word.........

Nando = Future Towel-Waving All-Star, tbh!

Cojo = 4th-string PG - no towel-waving for him! :lol

Do you recall that Brett Brown article where he virtually said that Patty had little future at the Spurs. Well ATM I'm really glad that Patty had the character to work hard in the off season in order to stay with the Spurs. Teams need people who put in effort to get better.

Maybe that's why he was pissed when the Spurs played the Sixers. Patty scored 10 and had 4 steals, 2 of which came in the backcourt.

You have to wonder if Ayres can even do that, tbh He will get technicals for dropping the towel on the game floor because he cannot hold onto it I think ...

He is 10th in the league in Stl per 48 and 5th in stl/to ration. He is much improved on the defensive end this year and also he exhibiting patience on the offensive end, not forcing shots which he use to have a tendency to do.

He, Marco, and Manu are really starting to click on the 2nd Unit.
