Fallout?
Bioshock?
Mass Effect, dead space?
Anything else?
I haven't played any of them and I want to power through something cheap. :greedy:greedy

I'm looking to play a series with a cool story

you mean which series should you buy? those aren't exclusive to 360.

but Bioshock series is good/cheap and great story imo

It doesn't have to be exclusive, just available for the xbox360

one does not simply "power through" Fallout 3

I've played those. Still bust out Skyrim from time to time, it's great

But was looking for variation. Not a big shooter guy, I'll play Halo every once in a while but the shooter types get repetitive.

Have you hit up the Arkham games, best comic book games of this generation if not the best period.

PROTIP

Pawn Shops got some good cheap games

Fallout 3 is great... although graphics might look a bit dated now... I enjoyed the last Bioshock... Mass Effect 1 was great, then it got shittier, tbh....

Of the series mentioned in the OP, I's put BioShock and Mass Effect on the top of the priority list.

I finished the game but i'm not a big fan of RPGs no matter how light the RPG elements are, always gets boring sooner than later. Too many stats, scavenging for items and dialogue for my taste.

Demon's Souls and Dark Souls tbh... but these aren't "power through" games. :lol

If you want to pick up a great game that's cheap, I also recommend Red Dead Redemption.

ending the main story with a giant fucking robot was just fantastic.

As for the graphics try going back to Oblivion after playing through skyrim, it's just hilarious.

I've been playing through FO New Vegas again with all the DLC and a shitload of Mods. It's like a whole new game.

Tbh, you could probably power through both FO titles in about 50-60 hours if you just stuck to the main plot.

I would recommend Mass Effect if you want a good story, though. The first one is an all-time great game, imho

True story. I'm still traumatized on how that series turned out. :lol

Okay Mass Effect 1 is def number 1 on the list.

I'm in the mood for a tight ass story and semester will be up soon.

That's a big investment as you will be playing all 3 to complete the story. I loved blowing off homeless people's heads in V.A.T.S in Fallout 3, but the story was decent as well. I'd recommend that if you are interested in the FO series.

Good question. The lesbians I know are pretty mixed in terms of gamer status.

I got Fallout 3 and all the DLC on xbox live while it was on black friday deal. 15 bucks total.

I played a couple hours last night, yeah I can see how theres no powering through this. It's like Skyrim basically. Sneak skills and everything.

never spend money on dlc if you don't have to. Buy the original game then go to gamestop buy a used GOTY/Ultimate/whatever edition that comes with a DLC disk. Install DLC and take that fucker back the same day saying that you didn't like it. GS should have a seven day return policy but double check what the conditions are at you nearest store

Nice strategy tbh. Reminds me of a strategy I used a few times.

Not sure if you know what I'm talking about, but if you've ever been playing a game and your 360 is standing vertical and then tilts, you will permafuck the game and leave it with a circle scratch that renders the game useless. Twice I took the scratched game and swapped with the one I rented from Blockbuster, no questions asked.

R.I.P Blockbuster.

Gamestop doesn't do money refund.

They give you a copy of the same game but as far as giving your money back, you're fucked.

At least around here that's the way it works.

They have a different policy when you buy their pre-owned games. If you return it in 7 days from purchase, they won't refund cash but will give you face value of the purchase price to use on another game.

I didn't realize it would work that way.

Then I ended up wasting bout 8 bucks.
