I began to hate when he refused to play in Charlotte as a 17-year-old punk. The guy who thinks he's MJ, too scared to play in NC because we all know he ain't MJ, and NC fans definitely know. As soon as he stepped on the court, I hated him worse, because it's always all about him. Always. Obviously, absolutely nothing as changed. He points fingers at teammates at the first opportunity, yet he claims 1000% of the glory when things go right. The guy is easily the most overrated player of all time.

Same as Magic Johnson who wouldn't play for the Bulls if they drafted him cuz he wanted to play for the Lakers and win titles with Kareem

(of course, Magic wasn't a selfish player, but that's another story)

Kobe is just such a polarized figure in NBA, like Cully on spurstalk, you either like him extremely or hate him just as much. Unless you suffer some sort of dissociative identity disorder, it would be very hard for you to love and hate him at once imho

He's the hardest working man in the entire league. Even if you hate the man for who he is and what team he plays for, you gotta admire his drive, passion, competitiveness.
