The woman in the video wasn't in the right for running away obviously but that doesn't take away from the fact that New Mexico police are out of control.

She had no right to flee, kid had no right to jump the officer, however the cop who fired was in the wrong because no one's life was in danger when the vehicle sped off. Piss poor training. Why do black people feel they don't have to obey the law or an officer? Jesus Christ bitch, it's a fucking speeding ticket.

All I know is that going on every week recently there is some new horror story coming out of New Mexico and their trigger happy police.

The other week they anally raped that man while searching for drugs in his ass that weren't there.

Then they had that serial groper who used traffic stops as an excuse for sexual assault.

I mean, what the hell?

"cop who fired was in the wrong because no one's life"

what? a cop will murder anybody, unarmed and nonthreateing, who runs away. All the cop has to claim/lie is that he thought the runner had committed a crime, or if he thought the runner was wanted, matched description, etc, etc.

cops in this case were perfectly justified in what they did. The only thing you can argue may or may not have been kosher, may have been the firing of shots, but also depends on where the officer was aiming. if its for a tire, fine. If its for the windows then not good.

Woman is fucking stupid. Kid is stupid. Woman is even stupider for doing what she did. Idiots, and thats who always reproduces the most. Idiocracy is well on its way.

"where the officer was aiming":

they ALWAYS shoot to kill

A Hail of Bullets, a Heap of Uncertainty

In 2006, in cases where police officers intentionally fired a gun at a person, they discharged 364 bullets and hit their target 103 times, for a hit rate of 28.3 percent, according to the department’s Firearms Discharge Report. The police shot and killed 13 people last year.

In 2005, officers fired 472 times in the same circumstances, hitting their mark 82 times, for a 17.4 percent hit rate. They shot and killed nine people that year.

In all shootings — including those against people, animals and in suicides and other situations — New York City officers achieved a 34 percent accuracy rate (182 out of 540), and a 43 percent accuracy rate when the target ranged from zero to six feet away. Nearly half the shots they fired last year were within that distance.

They cops knew there was child in the car. (black kids are always guilty, like black adults) Why didn't they pursue rather than shoot to kill?

How were those cops or anybody else mortally threatened by a car driving away?

For the trigger-happy, blood-thirsty cops, SHOOT FIRST is the only option

New Mexico Police Spray Woman’s Vagina With Mace After Drug Arrest

A New Mexico woman was allegedly strip searched--and then had mace sprayed on her vagina, according to a federal lawsuit filed earlier this week. The New Mexico news outlet KOB 4 reports (http://www.kob.com/article/stories/s3226379.shtml#.UpS5UmRDvbZ) that Marlene Tapia suffered from the ordeal for weeks after the incident.

The alleged incident occurred two years ago. Tapia’s legal team, who called what the police did “tantamount to torture,” says it takes time to build a civil rights case and that they filed before the statute of limitations was up.

Tapia was arrested for a probation violation linked to a separate drug case. While at the Metropolitan Detention Center, she was strip searched by officers, who found a plastic baggie “protruding from Tapia’s vagina,” according to KOB 4. That’s when officer Blanca Zapater sprayed mace on her vagina. It caused severe pain to Tapia, including burning, swollen genitals and painful urination.

A whole lot of stupidity the whole way around.

That is a mom that has no business taking care of kids.
The cops were way too casual with their approach after her and sons shenanigans. Just move off, they got physical way too fast.
Then of course the Cops trump that stupidity by shooting at the car as it moves off? Like they have no other backup?

Takes a large number of idiots to create a scene like that. And the poor daughter is screaming terrified wanting it all to end. Well she learned a lot about her mothers educational trip... What not to do when stopped by cops.

Apparently, she had some paraphernalia, and figured that for a blah woman, that would be a life sentence in the Libertarian Privately Run Penitentiary.

Strongly disagree. There was no justification for the use of deadly force. Cops don't fire rounds to hit tires. They fire to hit people. You don't fire into a vehicle who's occupancy is unknown just because someone blew a traffic stop and got a little rowdy. There was absolutely no justification, it was reckless endangerment and the cop should not only be fired but prosecuted as well. The woman should be prosecuted for resisting arrest, fleeing and her son prosecuted for assaulting a police officer and evading arrest. Let the courts sort that out. My feeling is that the woman and kid will be let go, given some cash with an agreement they will not press charges or file a lawsuit. The cop will be fired.
