View Full Version : Real talk - Is anyone surprised the Chiefs are getting stomped?

I mean no disrespect to Kansas City or their fans, but this is why no one has been considering them as a legit threat despite the fact that they are undefeated. I mean going 9-0 to start the season in the NFL is nothing to sleep on ... I don't care how their schedule has looked. However there has just always been something about them all season long that hasn't looked legit.

They are a good team and will likely win 13 games this season, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them knocked out in their first playoff game.

defense can only take you so far. eventually you need a qb that can actually throw down the field and get you first downs. these chiefs remind me of the niners from 2 years ago. it's crazy how harbaugh and now reid have been able to mask smith's mediocrity, tbh.

Denver
New Orleans
Seattle
New England
Carolina
San Francisco

all better teams than Kansas City at this point IMO

No surprise, Alice Smith sucks and is a complete pussy regardless of how hard Avante insists he's a "good quarterback" :lol

Yeah these are not the old days when defense won games. Teams have be able to make plays and pass the ball around downfield. That puts points on the scoreboard and wins games, tbh.

Speaking of Avante, did he pass away or something? Haven't seen him around lately...

how could you not take Seattle over Kansas City? :lol

Comparable defenses, but I'd take an elite secondary and a good front over the opposite in today's NFL.

Charles and Lynch are both great, but who would you rather have on your team on the big stage when you NEED a gutty performance.

And Wilson is superior to Alex Smith

Chiefs are a really good team, tbh, they're just unlucky to be in the same conference as the Broncos..

I'd also take Seattle's D over KC's, KC finally played a real quarterback and he's had a squeaky-clean jersey all night....

Wilson > Alice

KCs front 7>>>Seattle's I'd take the KC d over Seattle's

regardless for Kansas City I am legitimately happy for their fans. I mean they have been pure shit for the better part of the last decade.

I'm predicting 13-3 (they lose again at home to Denver, and will drop another one to either San Diego or Indianapolis)

and in the playoffs they will be a first round knockout.

like someone already said ... defense can only take them so far. they need a real man as their QB.

Seattle's D would get curb stomped at Denver as well.

Seattle's played two teams that are above .500 right now. TWO. And they are 1-1
it's not like KC has been wrecking the juggernauts of the NFL. you have defenses that are comparable (KC has a better front, Seattle has a better secondary), comparable running games, and Alex Smith against Wilson. Wilson is the clear choice

Kc's defense has been better than Seattle's but the Hawks offense has been much better.
