mah nig.

I hope so. Health is all that matters imo. Thunder haven't been the same since Harden left. Still not sure about Rockets tbh, a lot depends on possible Asik trade. They could still be a season away from making it work or imploding. GSW, they look good but who knows by season end.

I don't see any team that has the depth or execution of Spurs, fwiw.

Can any team in the West beat them in the playoffs? Westbrick and Doodoo jump can't. Dwight Howard can't make a free throw to save his life so I don't think a different jersey will help him beat the Spurs. The Clippers are probably the most overrated team in the NBA so they are out of the running. The Warriors will be defeated by Curry's shot selection. The Grizzlies have sucked ass since they get rid of their best coach. The Blazers are fool's gold. My Mavs won't.

It'll depend on matchups. If the Spurs have to face Portland or Minny in the first round, the series will end up going 6 or 7 games imo. That happens and I'm not sure the Spurs will have the energy to go through two of OKC, GS, Houston, and LAC.

Warriors and Thunderefs worry me the most, but yes i'd have to like our chances given the state of the west

There's no other team in the west that has the combination of veteran and young players, elite coaching, the best PF to ever play the game, and a culture of unselfish intelligent team ball. So yes the Spurs should make another Finals appearance.

Lakers can't even win a single playoff game against the Spurs:lol

Blazers are a bad matchup for the Spurs, tbh. Last year, the Spurs were fortunate to face the Los Angeles D-Leaguers, a young Warriors team, and a very limited Memphis squad. It's all about the matchups really.

Could be, but I am always worried about meltdowns, they were 2-0 against Cocklhahoma and then...

This. Anything can and will happen. Spurs look like the best team in the West, but they really haven't been tested yet.

It's still November.

I still think the Clippers might come out of the West if Doc has them playing well.

Unless they trade for someone noo way. Doc is a great coach but when the game slows down they have no offense

the alter ego on the spurs wont allow them to win another ring,

dunno how many more opportunities the clowns upstairs continue to allow pop a free ride with mistakes after mistakes since the last championship, he has hand in most of them just like the fake ass hero on the team and the injury prone turnoboli....comes a point in time the inconsistent variables need to be replace and embrace change, yet clowns wont allow or accept the truth....

why did you guys think pop didnt sub in duncan for that last rebound in game 6? yeh thats right trying to prove a point he doesnt need duncan to win a ring.....

window has close fellas even with a young core around duncan, the opportunity to ring again is just not there

sure. Much like Miami, I dont see a team stepping up even if the Spurs are potential vulnerable.

1. Clips. So dependent on Paul and pnr. a great, well coached defensive team like the Spurs/Heat/bulls/Pacers would take the ball out of his hands and force Blake to beat them in the block or from outside. Mephis laid out the blueprint last playoffs and Miami showed it again early this season. Could clips beat spurs? Sure. they have more raw talent and doc is way better than VDN ...but I would bet on Manu, Tony, Tim and especially Pop.

2. Rox. Yeah, right. Just dont see it. They are last year's Clips tbh. Poor coaching. Athletic bigs with no range and crappy Ft shooting, and a perimeter star who loves to pound the rock, run pnr and is adept at getting to the line. Also over reliant on 3's.

3. OKC. So much depends on Ibaka amd Russ taking a "leap" with westbrook coming off injury. They also need a legit bench scorer to emerge ...

4. GSW. I liek the pieces for a potential upset of Sa. Star in Curry. rising star in Klay. an elite perimeter defender (iggy) to put on Tony ...Bogut to defend the rim. The key is Harrison Barnes becoming the bench scoring threat for the nights/stretches where 3's are not falling ...Bogut rediscovering his post game would help. But they are so young hard to bet against Spurs.

No one else is beating SA. They are well coached. Disciplined on defense/offense ... great disciplinarian coach. Spurs are the new era Malone/Stockton Jazz ... No offense since this this core has actually won. Even down to the heart-breaking finals loss last year at the hands of a potential GOAT. Lebron will have his Byron Russell moment against dem spurs with Lebron hitting a game clincher over Danny green or KL ...you heard it here first.

My dude Killa pretty much nailed it tbh...but beyond that it's too early. Even if the Spurs are healthy (and if that's the case they are the favorites) they aren't clear cut favorites by a long margin. Their margin for error is non-existent (health, fatigue & production from key young guys...) and while they are likely the favorites things change so rapidly (injuries, trades, teams like HOU/CLIPS figuring things out/possibly coming together...) that it's just too early to tell. It's very likely it's going to be a jumbled up mess in the playoffs despite what regular season records say.

My nicca! Yes, i agree it is way early. But everyone could wait and see. This is me stepping out on a limb, and calling my shot now. You could scoff and say well picking a repat finals is easy but how many repeat finals have we had since 1980? Off the dome ...

1982 and 1983 ... Lakers and Sixers
1984 and 1985 ... Lakers and Celts
1988 and 1989 ... Lakers and Pistons

And the last two Bulls championships over Jazz ... that in over 33 years it has happened 4 times (am I missing another?)

Heat making 4 straight finals ... again since 1980 ...

Lakers 1982 -1985 (only won two)
Celts 1984 - 1987 (same)

I think Pistons were close, but no cigar ... same with Sixers ... Shaqobe Lakers did not either ...MJ gave up his shot for baseball.

Heat 3peat ... Same time frame

Bulls twice.
Lakers once.

That's it. As HH was saying what Lebron (and heat) are attempting to do is historic. I doubt it will never be "not one. not two. not three. not four not five ... but just doing what they have done so far and ending a 3peat puts them in rare company.

Absolutely - the Heat have been one of the best teams ever assembled. There have been struggles, but damn, they are on an epic journey and with Rose looking lame, it really looks good for them.

If I had to choose today, I would say Heat/SAS finals too, but it's just too early to tell. But as of today, IMO, those two are the right answers looking ahead.

IF SPURS get back to the finals, is tp going to hero again and costs the spurs another championship?

yet the clowns upstairs will continue to forgive and forget?

I get that losing when you were THAT close ...hurts. Parker started great and ended badly. But he was facing a great defensive team with 3 solid perimeter defenders: Battier, chalmers wade and one elite one (james). Spurs never got a consistent Third scorer. Green was hot for a while and KL had some great moments. Manu also ran hot and cold. to beat the Heat that third guy has GOT to be consistent. that is why chicago has no real shot even if Rose gets healthy I dont rust either Dukie to remain consistent on offense when it matters most. Pacers have the best chance if Scola, granger or Hibbert gives them that after George/West ...

I am just concerned that Stern needs better ratings this year…We could see another one of those fair and balanced Lakers trades…
Blake Griffin for Chris Kaman…

dont play the injury card,,,,,if he was injured explain where he got the energy to hoist up 10 straight possession shots after seeing duncan go for 20pts in the first half on his way to a monster mvp game...yeh thats right, clown got jealous

I said losing ...hurts for Spurfan that is why yall blame Tony.Cuz KL and Tim are untouchable. I'm just stating as a neutral party, that Tony getting limited by Bron/Chalmers/Wade when they did the same to Rose during his MVP season seems a bit unfair. They also did the same to Paul in their 1st meeting this season.

still too early. IMO Spurs are on Finals high still. They will eventually hit a wall once they realize how they lost game 6. Still hasn't sinked in them yet imo.

still even then, they should be able to secure a top seed save a major injury.

It is very difficult to predict considering all the variables for the next 70+ more games ahead. But you are judging as of the moment, I would say Spurs will win the West.

They were not the #1 team last year sir... They went to the Finals though and could have won. LA will get a later seed if that again. They suck.
