What do you think?

I think Hollywood ran out of original ideas a long time ago.

So have musicians, poets, authors, presidents, yada, yada, yada.

New ideas are dead.

I personally don't see Jack Black in either the King Kong or Faye Wray characters. :lol

i meant that sarcastically, but the more i think about it....actually, it reallly can't fail

jack black is hilarious, i think they're going to go with a 'comedic' style of King Kong this time around

Is Jack Black playing King Kong??

Actually this King Kong is a remake of a remake so basically WGAF? It will be the typical hollywood movie with 95 minutes of special effects and a couple of minutes of dialog.

movies have degraded to simple quick action clips and snappy lines. if im gonna take out a loan to go to the movies im gonna want something with a bit more substance.

Jack Black is annoying sometimes, i think this movie will freaking flop worse than Cinderella Man.

I liked the Batman remake, better than the old ones. I also think this King Kong will be better. Can't bet against the person who brought Lord of the Rings to life.

I just saw the Willy Wonka remake and it was horrible, knew it would be, but damnnnn!

Jack Black is playing it straight, not comedic. Check out the trailer at www.quicktime.com.

Looks ok. But the dinosaurs don't look nearly good enough. The skin looks like grey plastic.

Elisabeth Shue was hotter than hell in the original. How many guys beat off to that in 1984?

I still beat off to that. She looks great in those small shorts and striped socks to her knees.

There have been plenty of attempts to come up with new ideas. Momento was a hit with me, Garden State was over-rated. Once again, personal preference.

Never saw Momento.

Garden State was horrible.

Sideways though, was fantastic.

"NOT NOW!!!" lol.

Momento was pretty kickass. I also really enjoyed Garden State. The love story part kinda blew, but I can really associate with many of the characters in the flick. Some of them seemed a lot more complex the second time I watched it.

Come on. Not that good.

A simple not complicated story. Not much values you can take from this movie.
But watching it - was fun a pleasure, not thinking too much.
The film combines the Early movies and the movies of todays world.
