In game 7, on the possession where Ginobli turns it over? And then on the ensuing possession he comes in the game but Ginobli brings the ball up the court and shoots a 35 footer in LeBron's face(you ain't Tony Parker baby)

Parker got bench back in 2003 for Speedy Claxton. Spurs won that game.

And for all those piling on Manu, he did track down that board in the corner and later bailed out Green who looked lost + fed ball to Timmy on the possession where Duncan missed that shot. He did almost throw it away for another turnover.

First time I've watched that again since it happened live (tried to purge it from my memory). Chalmers could have been an even bigger goat for those two missed freebies. Kawhi could have been a legend if he had one more three in him. And if he had gotten through that screen quicker to defend the Lebron J ... whatever

You see that is why I don't even bother watching it anymore, remember most of what you said but fail to relive it again and say man what if..... I am moving on now but that shit stung most of the summer.

For those with lousy memories, Tony Parker had a partially torn hamstring for most of the playoffs.

Yes. He was never right after it happened. Tony's days of playoff fades ended with his 2007 Finals MVP award. Overall, he's been pretty money since then.

Remember, if Tony doesn't make that amazing shot in Game 1, there probably isn't even a Game 7.

He really injured "badly" himself during G3. Despite the blowout, Pop put him back in the game in the 4th, whitch was another stupid decision...

He wasn't the same after that, he could only be effective for 1 half... (he kept us in the game thks to his 1st half production in games 4 and 5 and Timmy in game 6)
Game 7 was so painfull to whatch, the Heat were so fucking lucky, LBJ could finally defend him (any player could have) and nobody (media) really noticed it (except Skipp Bayless)

I don't agree.

The main factor was Tony' injury...

Even if we lose G1, with Tony healthy anything was possible, they just COULDN'T guard him...

It's shame that it was Tony of all people to get injured. I know he missed a few weeks of the regular season last year, but of the big three he was the least of my worries.
