The NBA player tracking has 5 Spurs players ranked in the top10.
The Spurs are the 4th oldest team in the NBA but by pushing the ball up
the court the NBA's new rating measurement Player Tracking, the Spurs
have some fast players .Nando,Patty,Cory are tied with Tony Douglas
are all tied for first with a court speed of 4.8 MPH. Tony and Danny are
tied for 6th with 15 other players with a speed of 4.6 MPH

Tony is a pretty obvious inclusion. Danny is just running to keep up with Tony and get threes in transition.

Of the other three, only Patty plays significant minutes, and that it still only around 15 per game. Still, he may arguably be faster, end-to-end, than Tony is.

You can pull the story up on "TheScore" mobile site. I tried to find the story on the
internet site but couldn't get it to come up. It's a good read on how he got the numbers.

Being the "fourth oldest team in the NBA" doesn't mean shit when you consider how little variability exists in the distribution. I'm sure there is a lot of clustering around the mean, with a very small standard deviation. At that point, rank order doesn't really convey any useful information for making comparisons.

They don't take it to the rim and play below the rim pushing the ball up court then stop and pass to an open shooter, because that is how the Spurs play.
