Also, even in a saturated field if you finish out of a good enough program or high enough in it class you can still find a job fairly easily. That or having prior work at a law office. Past few summers and during breaks I've been a full timer at a firm. If I keep that connection going I could land a gig there or could easily get recommended somewhere else they know

That's one of the perks of living in LA. Good friend of mine just got out of Pepperdine law (nowhere near top of his class) and he found a six figure starting job within about 4 months. Four months is no breeze but he had a shittier job in the meantime

It depends on your school. If you go to a school like Southwestern, Glendale College of Law, La Verne, Thomas Jefferson you will struggle in the job market. From Loyola, Pepperdine, SD, Irvine it's a bit better. From UCLA, USC, Berkley you are set and from Stanford you'll have your dick sucked from law offices
