12/13 Lakers

or

13/14 Nets?

Nets. Lolkers at least had pre-career raping injury Bryant chucking them to victory sometimes and Paussy wasn't completely neutered like he is this season.

12/13 Lakers, since they were considered favorites to come out of the West.

The LOLakers made the playoffs in the West. Nets are fucking horrible.

Either team would hold on to a 5 point lead with 28 seconds left in game 6, NBA Finals.

The Nets have a 120 million dollar roster too. So try again, fuckface.

Nyets.

The Lakers had a serviceable Dwight Howard, Nash was less of a pussy than _eron Williams, Kobe was playing well before The Achilles.

KG looks worse than Duncan (and that's saying a lot), Pierce looks even more of a TOSB than Manu, Brook is hurt, Kidd is way in over his head.

In order for that to be possible, they would have to first make it to game 6 of the finals. Which they didn't/couldn't.

:lol dumbass

On the bright side, at 3-9 the Nets are only a game and a half out of a playoff spot in the leastern conference.

too early to say. nets need time to agglutinate the new pieces and they'll only get better as the season progresses, but speaking of current form I think they're probably worse than the 12-13 lakers, tied with the 13-14 lakers

Niggas couldn't even make it to Game 5 of the first round.

Too early to tell as there are still games to be played for the nets.

That said, the lakers last year wasn't a horrible team, they were 7th seed in the west with their 12fta advantage. The nets, at this pace, probably won't make 7th seed in a so far disappointing season.

We'll just have to wait this out.

Knicks?

At least the Nets have fat ass Williams out and are currently playing two relics that just dont cut it anymore.

Knicks, in the other hand are just terrible WITH Melo and a so so cast.

They shouldn't be this bad but yet they are. My vote, Knicks.

The Lakers were a bigger disappointment than the Nets could ever be, but the Nets can very easily break down from injuries, implode and toss out a HoF basketball player from his coaching debut.

Tough, both had sky high expectations. Record wise the Nets are worse, but the Lakers IMO were a bigger disappointment. Everything that could go wrong in a season took place. Chemistry issues, injuries, coaching changes (3x).

I believe NY will bounce back to the playoff range before the all-star break with big daddy TC back. Teams with negative W/L records are among the top 8 in the east, NY ain't left too far behind imho.

Lakers had lots of injuries, lost many of their top players for long stretches of the season. Had the spurs lost their top players for the same amount of games they don't make the playoffs.

The Lakers had no backcourt in the playoffs with the injuries, had the spurs lost their backcourt they also get swept.

The Lakers were 6-13 last season when their top 4 players all played:lol..

Man, it must hurt you so much to see the Lakers at the bottom with no hope of rising in the next 3 years..

basing the talent of a team over 19 games.. grade a logic. 3 years from now the lakers will still be a destination choice, unlike SA.

I am a Spur fan but not a fan of many on this board. The Lakers can and will bounce back, they are a desired free agent destination . They can turn the team around quickly, the spurs ride the same players year in year out. In a couple of years when those players are gone the Spurs will have to rebuild, the current front office will bolt, then it is going to take another lucky lottery bounce for the spurs to get back to being relevant.

So they only had their top players for 19 games, there you go. I don't know if your numbers are even accurate but the season got derailed early on by injuries and no denying that. they started to play better towards the end of the season right before Bryant went down and the Spur fans were looking at all the scenarios to try to avoid them but I am sure you forgot that.

But OP brings up a good point. You cant just glue a bunch of older superstars and no coach and think everything will work itself out. This disasterous formula needs to stop already

Its true, Kobe has to live with the fact he was on a team with 4 super stars and the team epically failed

As day goes by, this should be the Nets. They're missing the playoffs, on pace to have a 20 win season and not get a draft pick for their sufferings.
