:lmao

No Reggie Wayne = no Luck production

No Reggie Wayne = losses to the Cards 40-11, and to the Rams 38-3 (I believe)

"but, but but... he's white... he's the greatest"

nope. Cam is the best young QB out (I'll give you Wilson) and it's going to stay that way until he reaches superstar status (if you don't consider him such already).

Most QBs look pedestrian without players to throw to. Especially young ones. He's giving us the every other game Curious Geno treatment without Reggie. Two tough games coming up, they could easily lose both, although I think they'll split.

how about you compare completion on long throws? it's a little misleading to compare completion when every time he has none wide open to throw to, he only needs to run for 1yd to pretend like it wasn't a blown pass play.. that is if you had any intention of actually comparing them..

Like seriously? You treat this guy as if he runs like Michael Vick or RGIII. Cam is a POCKET PASSER.

This is dumb. Receivers are dependent on the quarterback. That's why they are called "receivers". If the quarterback sucks, the receivers will get hurt.

You play to your team's strengths and for the Panthers, its defense. Cam has already shown he can run, pass and put up points. Overall, Luck has more options on offense and his numbers are less impressive. They're both game managers and its better to have one of those than a guy who just flings the ball around the field. Peyton's also a game manager so I'm not sure what your point even is.

Right Koolaid Man 37...... Cam came to Carolina during a rebuilding phase. They were basically starting over. Luck came to a team that was playoff ready with a ton more talent on both sides of the ball. Indy tanked to get the #1 draft pick just like the Spurs tanked to get a high lottery pick in 1997. Luck actually has more talent surrounding him than Peyton did when he was QB for the colts.

based off what?

newton is the lebron james of football. once we get our second, third ring, we'll check back up on this

What? Lebron puts up monster stats while being efficient as hell, also the best player in the game. Cum is 18th in passing YDS, 20th in YDS/A, 10th in TDs, 18th in Comp%, 25th in YDS/G

There's no statistical evidence of Newton being anywhere near the equivalent of Lebron in Football, he's just an above-average QB, who can run the ball. He's what people thought RGIII would be after his knee surgery. Cum is nothing but a game manager.

the only thing retarded is your take on how andrew luck is a better athlete then cam.

cam was better in college, better his rookie year, and is better now.

the only thing luck has on him is:
1) a playoff berth (with a significantly better team then Cam had)
2) he broke cam's rookie passing record

that's IT. and cam is more than likely going to make the playoffs this upcoming year, so much for that...

cam is having a far better season tbh, and luck is getting exposed for what he is... no prime-time target = no success for luck.

sure, if you took away steve smith cam wouldn't be as productive. BUT, cam has also thrown to four different receivers for 400 yards at least. the only other QB to do that this year is peyton.

cam has a well-balanced, but really mediocre receiver group, and he is making them look good.

Andrew Luck, despite being given a 1st ballot HOF, a 1st round pick wideout, and the best CFL WR in the game last year, couldn't muster more than 7 points against the Jets. Keep in mind they also have Hilton.

Cam, on the other hand, was up and down with his passing, but still willed his team to victory without their best 2 defensive players.

Luck is a product of a shitty division, and while he probably will step it up, I doubt he could do it consistently on a team with a lack of weapons, such as Carolina.
