First real GF was back in 02-03 (Jr. High-High school). I would skip school and go to her house or the movie theater which was a few miles away...group parties and all that shit would get poppin at our local now-defunct waterpark (Supersplash)...summer league basketball throughout junior high-high school (my team once won by a score of 198-23, hit 15 threes:))...football (high school)...movies/music between 97-05

What say you?

101.9 Christmas music, the smell of a real Christmas tree, logs burning in the fireplace, Hallmark channel at Christmas time, Christmas lights outside, Christmas carols sung at midnight Mass on Christmas Eve at UIC.
The RiverWalk at night at Christmas time, smell of Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners cooking. Tamales steaming and black eyed peas cooking on New Years Day.
The whole Holiday Season in general.

I'm just not very nostalgic. I have many treasured memories, but usually when something is past I'm done with it.

Too many to name all.

One the comes to mind is the Home Alone theme music, "somewhere in my memory".

that song makes me feel like a kid everytime I hear it. Especially this time of year.

If we dipped into music as a whole, there would more than I could name...I basically got it from all genres growing up...soft rock from my mom(Huey Lewis, Bruce Hornsby, Steve Winwood), 80's mainstream from my sister(Chicago, The Police, Air Supply, Journey), rock from my brother(Judas Priest, AC/DC, Def Leppard) and old country from my dad(Marty Robbins, Jim Reeves, Hank Williams).

Shit, Graceland, and Catch a fire are probably the earliest shit I remember. Pops used to pick up mom from the afternoon shift @ the hopsital with me in the back playing those cassettes, tbh

Good times. Back in the late 80s my old man had a blue '79 Prelude with tje sun roof. He used to pick me and my bro up in that. He had one mixtape, which had Gabriel's Solsbury Hill followed by the entire Graceland album. You know how when u listen to an album ot playlist all the time you start to anticipate the next song? Whenever i hear Solsbury Hill i expect Boy in the Bubble to come up next.:lol

Two years ago i bought him a 79 prelude and had it shipped oit from Missouri...how's that for nostalgia?:lol

Today I will put on the Harry Potter movies and eventually the last Hobbit movie in preparation for the December 13th opening of the next Hobbit installment.

I forgot to mention, I am investing in two Bose L1 model II PA systems both with a B2 and a T. I may eventually get two more T1's so that it can be used for a much bigger band. It'll be a 6 grand investment.
What else better do I have to do than keep writing songs and playing music?
My drummer friend is classically trained in jazz so I plan to add jazz to the blues/rock format.
Interested?

The smell of British Sterling Aftershave. I can close my eyes, put my snout to a bottle I bought on the Internet and go back over 40 years when Girl and I were first dating. That was my scent. It was all there.......my paper route, going to professional rassling once-a-week with my dad, football every Sunday, Wednesday night date with Girl, then Friday and Saturday night date with Girl, then Sunday night date with Girl. Girl, Girl, Girl.

I God's.

What about the sight of your mother's hyper extended piss flaps blowing in the wind? Or that carrot top in a head lock she had up front? Don't tell me you don't get a little tingle when you see a cabbage patch kid, you have to think back to the first time you jerked off watching your mother climb from the tub and shave her back.
